I'm enjoying this as my low-key EDC.
I'm a big fan of this knife. My EDC for the last couple of years has been a Kershaw Leek, and it's a great knife, but I'm a little self-conscious about whipping it out in front of bystanders. For non-knife people it looks aggressive, weapon-like. I wanted to go back to something with good utility, but more like a gentleman's folder. It's been a little adjustment getting used to two-handed opening again, but it's fine.Carrying the Leek all this time has got me used to carrying with a clip, so I didn't want to go back to a Swiss Army knife (which I love) banging around in my dress pants. I thought this Boker would be a good compromise between a SAK and the Leek, and it is! It's a light-yet-sizeable, sturdy, and has a satisfying tactile snap when opening and closing the blade. The 12C27 Sandvik holds a good edge. The glass breaker is a bonus and it's unobtrusive. If you have concerns about 'made in China', well, you'd never know from the look and feel. Fit & finish is good. The G10 scales are fairly grippy (although not as textured as a lot of G10 out there), the blade centers nicely, and the clip is stout.I've posted pics for comparison. Left to right: Kershaw Chive, a 25 year old Wenger Tradesman, Boker Tech-Tool 1, Kershaw Leek. You can get a basic idea of size between them. The Leek, although hard to see in the pics, is about 3/8" longer and a hair less thick when folded. This Boker is WAY lighter than the Leek. I don't even know it's there when carrying. The blade is much larger than the Wenger's and it has a nice hollow grind, drop point.I've handled the Tech-Tool 2, as well, and it's equally as nice. The extra layer + corkscrew made it a little thicker/heavier than I was looking for.FYI - The Victorinox micro-screwdriver tool made to screw into SAK's corkscrew is NOT compatible with the Boker corkscrew.

Great Pocket Knife
The deep pocket clip really hides it during carry, and I don't notice that it is there until I need to use it. I just love the texture and the look of the D10 scale handle. (Not sure If I will ever need the Glass Breaker). One thing I might comment is that although the clip has an option to be either tip up or tip down, it came as tip down. When I used my T6 screw Driver to unscrew to change to tip up, the screws where super, super tight. I think they used a lot of loc-tight or something. Anyway, I ended up stripping the T6 Torx screw, and by the time I reassembled it, the blade was not able to be tight again, and now it wobbles. This bothers me, but it is still usable.Maybe someday, I will find a replacement screw. I check the Boker website, but it seems they want $9.99 for the screws as spare parts. Oh well, I'll just use it for small jobs.

Great knife for every day use.
I was tired of the look of my Swiss army knives; this knife looks more like a tool and less like a red toy to me. Fit and feel in the hand is nice. It will be the knife I keep in my pocket most often. My exmaple had no defects and worked perfectly. Recommended buy but I am no knife expert.

New favorite: Boker Tech-Tool City 1
This is my new favorite knife. It is light weight, and is great for EDC. The blade sharpness was better than expected out of the box.

Needs a blade lock
Didn't realize this didn't have a blade lock when I purchased. I've been using locking blades for such a long time I'm actually a bit wary of using this. For the price it should have one. Otherwise it's a fine piece.
