Great table!
I was looking for a table for my two dehydrators, this fit the bill! Once I’ve filled my dehydrators, I can roll the table into another room for the drying process. The table works perfectly for my intended use. Has nice beefy wheels with locks, easy to move, it’s a nice looking table, very sturdy, has an adjustable bottom shelf. Comparably priced!

Very sturdy, versatile mini food prep table for a smaller kitchen
The media could not be loaded. The unit is an INDOOR DuraSteel 18 in x 30 in SS top kitchen work mini island with casters. Kitchen is tight, so I needed an extra work surface and more storage. With the purchase of an extra DuraSteel shelf I was able to stably support/wedge in the added VEVOR SS 2-drawer unit. No hardware required. The unit specs are 17.8" W x 20.2" H x 12.2" D. It still left me the bottom (original) shelf, for more storage. BTW, the extra DuraSteel shelf runs only $33/from "returns". The VEVOR unit does leave some back and side space unused - it is 12.7 in to the units' 18 in depth. Not a big deal. You will notice that I placed the VEVOR unit off center. That is because I plan to "close off" the end gap in some manner to slot in a wooden chopping block. The drawers slide in & out smoothly, because of ball bearing hardware. BTW, I feel that the 18 in x 30 in DuraSteel top dimensions are an absolute minimum for a functional area to perform most kitchen tasks. Also, wheels are a must in a small kitchen. The unit is topped off with a Winco CBWT-1830 Cutting Board, 18-Inch by 30-Inch by 1/2-Inch. It fits great but slides on top of the SS top surface. My solution: DIYMAG Neodymium "finger" magnets as seen in the pics (left). These are super strong yet can be removed. They do stick to this SS surface to contain movement of the board.*** Feb. 24, 2025. I just modified the unit by organizing the "empty" space below the table top [around the added VEVOR drawer unit] via 2 sets of DuraSteel OPEN Work Table BASE Bracing. This is not the intended use by the manufacturer. This move required me to take off the top. HINT: DO NOT over tighten the horizontal sections until all are installed and checked for level. Really paid off. On one side I safely store cutting boards. On another I hang basic kitchen gadgets with SS hooks. And the back cradles a long rolling pin...

I own (and have owned) many stainless tables - these are the gold standard!
With various businesses I have, from floristry to woodworking, I use stainless tables everywhere. Stainless tables mend that gap between "work" and "something that looks nice."That said, quality can vary depending on the manufacturer. Of all of the ones I've ever bought on Amazon, these are indeed the gold standard! There are some "thicker" gauge steel tables available at restaurant supply stores for 3x the price (if that's your thing) but these are quite a thick gauge to begin with. Dropping a hammer on them from a short distance (which I do by accident from time to time) doesn't phase them.. no ding! I wish the door on my car was built as sturdy. You can find them cheaper, but you can't find them better-made than DuraSteel. There are reasons to get the cheaper ones on occasion - it boils down to what you intend to use the table for. But for anything that I need to actually do "work" at, these are my go-to brand.

Good Purchase
Good table. Cut the legs a bit to make it into a desk and eating place.

MAJOR QUALITY ISSUES.
MAJOR QUALITY ISSUES. Ordered this to be a prep area for my tiny kitchen. Price was right & free 2-day shipping.Unit 1 arrived on time. Many tears & dings in the cardboard box. Opened it up, found that one of the six threaded bolts which hold the leg-sockets to the underside of the tabletop had snapped off in shipping. Also, both the table-top and the shelf piece had major dents in them. Some number of the steel set-screws which hold the legs to the table-top and the shelf to the legs were missing from the package.Ok. I received a bad unit. No biggie. Tape the box back up, click on the 'return' button on my Amazon order. I have the luxury of being able to work-from-home on days where I need to stay home all day to meet the UPS guy, others may not...Replacement unit arrives two days later (actually ahead of Amazon's guaranteed delivery date). This one also has (minor) dents in the table-top, and on this one THREE of the twelve steel bolts which attach the table-top to the leg-sockets have snapped off. Also, the weld-points where they attach the bolts to the underside of the table are visible as dents from the top of the table. This one is missing one of the sixteen steel set-screws which hold the legs to the table-top and the shelf to the legs.I definitely should return the second one as well, but it's a heavy steel table and a pain to disassemble / pack for shipping might just live with it. Either way I go, I'll never be ordering anything from Apex again.Design problem: steel bolts that hold the leg-sockets to the underside of the table-top are welded / brazed to the bottom surface of the steel table-top. This is a poor design, the bolts snap right off, and even the ones that hold leave visible imperfections on the top surface of the table.Packaging / handling problem: I received two different units and on both of them, the table-top has gotten dented out of shape either in the warehouse or in shipping. No instruction sheet included. I'm still figuring out how to mount the casters (it's non-trivial). I'm sure I'll figure it out, but an instruction sheet would be nice.
