Omg, these for my daughter so well! She loves them! She is a slider, and slides all of the time during games and these will be great! The padding is thick, and the color of the shorts are spot on! They are so comfortable( she says)! The size is exact!

Bought these for my son, who just turned nine. It's early in the season, but so far these sliding shorts have worked very, very well. They provide extra padding not only for sliding, but also in case he gets hit with the ball (this is his first year of kid pitch, so that's a distinct possibility). I was nervous about buying these, given what many reviews said about sizing problems, but I'm glad I took the chance--my son likes them a lot and says they are very comfortable. A note about sizing: my son is about 4'9" and weighs 85 pounds--he is solid muscle. He wears a size 10 in pants from both Old Navy and The Children's Place, to give you a sense of his size. The size large briefs he wore for protection last year (made by another company) are too small now, but given what everyone here said, I ordered a medium in these. I'm very glad I did, because the medium is a little loose in the waist; a large would fall off him!
