I was a little taken aback that it wasn’t a roll, but rather a cut piece of fabric. But the fabric on a hoop is tight and perfect. I did not test the pens so I cannot speak there. But I will buy this again in the future.

The linen fabric thinker than I expected. Do recommend for other people for their embroidery works.

The fabric is good. It's thicker than the fabric I bought at Michaels but not really any harder to embroider; feels sturdier.My pen came broken. It's still useable since it's only the top part but not great to received something broken. This was shipped in just a clear plastic bag, not the bubble mailers Amazon typically uses for light/flat items so I'm not shocked the pen got crushed.As for the ink, you might want to skip using this on your projects. I did get the ink to wash out in the little sample but it required a lot of ringing and soap so you can see how the little piece of fabric got pretty frayed and out to shape. I don't know if you'd want to be so rough with a finished project. Pens do write nicely on paper, though.

I was very pleased

These are ordinary cotton scraps with no particular problems. They are not luxurious, but they are not so much poor cotton. I have yet to use any pens with these pens that came with the clothes, as I already have a favorite pen for underwriting.

Good value for the price

The ink on the pens that come with this kit does wash out. The key is to soak your embroidery in a shallow pan of water for an hour. You’ll start to see the ink dissolve in just a few minutes. If you run the embroidery under a faucet and try to scrub at it, it doesn’t come out as easily and you will be frustrated. Just soak it and everything will be fine. No stress! Hope that helps you!
