Absolutely LOVE this spice rack
I can't even express the joy this spice organizing system has brought me. I am a bit neurotic when it comes to my spice collection - I actually purchased 4 of these items to set up in my pantry. I am still working on getting everything transferred to the new jars, but I have filled up 2.5 of the racks with so many more spices still to go - I might end up needing to purchase a 5th one. I have tried so many different spice organization systems and have never found one that I like. - First of all because I have such an extensive collection of spices and seasonings and a 12-20 spinning rack simply won't cut it for me. - Secondly, I can't use pull out drawer organizers because, well, who has enough drawer space to give up for spices? Finding this spice rack that compactly holds 36 full size jars with no wasted space is life-changing for my pantry! No more will I have 2 shelves full of random jars and bottles that I have to move around and shuffle through trying to find the one random spice that I know is buried in there, somewhere. And no longer will I end up thinking I don't have the one I need and buying more, only to later find I already had 2 jars hiding in the back corner! Don't even get me started on the huge quantity of labels that are included with this set! They provide preprinted labels for just about every individual spice and herb I can think of as well as some popular combination seasonings (Old Bay, Jerk, Seasoned Salt, etc.) Also included are a bunch of blank labels and a marker for labeling items that they haven't included. My only "wish" in this area is that it wasn't a "chalk" marker. It is easy to smear and I fear how well my hand written labels will hold up over time - that remains to be seen. The whole set up is quite solidly made, and simple metal rack with no extraneous design elements that just waste shelf space. It has what can be used as handles on the top so if the whole rack needs to be moved, it is a simple matter to pick up the whole set and place it where it needs to go. The sets came very well packaged with very minimal damage to anything. I have found about 4 jars that have slightly dented lids. Not in any way a functional problem. Jars and racks are all in pristine condition. I bought my sets at a time there was a discount attached, so each rack and set of 36 jars cost me only $30, and I am going to save so much time now that I am organized and save money not buying repeat spices - it is totally worth every penny! Once I am completely set up and organized I will come back and add a picture of everything placed in my pantry - I promise I wasn't paid to promote this item, I am just totally fangirling over my new spice system!

Organized spices = less cooking stress
I am soooo glad I bought this. I used to have my spices in a pull out drawer but this made it hard to locate items, especially in my dark kitchen with these old eyes. Now my spices are neatly displayed on my counter, organized in alphabetical order. This actually makes the cooking process faster because I don't have to go looking for the right spice. They are all in sight now. The unit fits nicely under my cabinet, sitting right on my counter. Sturdy. Does not wobble. I think it looks great. It came with pre-made labels, some blank labels, and a white permanent marker for any unique spices that did not have pre-made stickers. I originally was againt buying this because i did not want to add more item to my small kitchen, but my 15 year old son made me buy it. He recently turned vegan and started cooking. He was constantly, constantly, constantly complaining that things were hard to find. He researched Amazon and presented me with this organizer. To this day he is still comments on how much better the organization is and that it made learning to cook less stressful for him. Price was fair...good value.

Excellent product for the price and function - highly recommend this
FINALLY - A SPICE RACK THAT WORKS!!! After trying several different spice racks, this one is PERFECT! Simple and easy but classic looking. Having empty jars is perfect as you can fill them as you wish. The number and variety of spice name labels is incredible - I've NEVER come across a product that has so much to choose from. For those who truly cook and spend time in the kitchen using spices - this is the way to go! Doesn't take up too much space, is sturdy, and holds so many jars at one - LOVE IT! No more spinning racks that get crumbs down in the cylinder or start to rust, or sharp edges while cleaning. Highly recommend this. Plus, I don't have a lot of space on my kitchen counters, and this rack still allows full use of spices in a very small space.

Organized Everything Nicely!
I finally pulled the trigger and bought a spice organizer because my spices were scattered all over my counters and cabinets, driving me nuts. I bought this set because it came with a large number of square bottles and a TON of pre-printed and blank labels. I couldn't be happier. I reclaimed so much space in my small kitchen. I can quickly find exactly the ingredients for my dishes. I even took a picture of the whole thing to help remind me when I'm shopping or considering a recipe. No more buying duplicate jars of the same spice! Finally, it looks really nice! I feel like my space is more inviting and "professional". Definitely recommended.

The ad page is confusing!
I ordered this product, understanding that I would be able to store 36 jars of spices on it. When I received the order, I noticed that there were not enough spaces for 36 jars, as shown in the pictures. However, there was a note inserted in it that indicated that it should accommodate 36 jars. Look at the pictures in the ad. But when you got it, it was stuffed with Styrofoam with about five or six spaces for a bottles. I automatically assumed that that was the way they would all fit. As it turns out, what appears to be only enough room for 24 or 25 Bottles, is actually big enough for 36! The reason for my confusion is that they presented for Styrofoam containers filled with the glass bottles and equal spacing. Therefore racks therefore I thought before Styrofoam strips with bottles was a presentation of that would be. But that’s not the case. ends up, that this particular rack is precisely what I’ve been looking for. It will accommodate round or square jars of a variety of sizes. It is perfect for my needs. So, you can use the jars today send it have a nice pretty and uniform, or you can use it immediately placing the jars on it that you already have. let’s see the rack itself seems to be very well-made, I chose the silver which is a soft color and very nice it seems sturdy and I think it will last as long as I want to use it. I gave the racket self five stars and the quality of the jars lids and labels. The item was also very well packaged. Each jar was one case separately in a Styrofoam strip, for strips at all, where and the rack itself has no defects of any type of support. Also appears that you can fasten it to the wall if you want to, although I have mine standing freely on the countertop. Does it also comes with a very nice silicone ceiling funnel make it easier to transfer your spices from your jars or ones that are brand new that you just bought if you want to make them all uniform and put them in the jars provided us in the order. I recommend this item. And it was a reasonable price.

Decant. Your. Spices!!!
My husband and I live in a small 900 square foot apartment and we have been keeping spices in a drawer. It was a fine approach but of course I would organize them how I liked and then whenever he would use a spice for dinner, somehow the removal of one single spice meant everything else had to get rearranged and it drove me insane. (Married hetero ladies, IYKYK...) I also took cooking classes finally (GAME CHANGER) and learned how to really incorporate spices properly, so we have been acquiring more and more. THEN I took a virtual organizing class (free through Yelp!) and the woman explained how you should decant everything, including your spices. I dunno if I am gonna decant EVERYTHING but it didn't finally inspire me to do something about our situation so I bought this spice rack. I love ittttt. I bought the 36-spice rack because we had about 20-something spices and I wanted to leave room to grow. It's been a few weeks since I did this project and I am now up to 32 spices/herbs with only 4 open bottles left. So definitely buy bigger than you think you need! Filling and labeling the jars... First I put all the glass jars in the dishwasher and let them dry. I hand washed the plastic shaker inserts and lids. (Recommend using a collander for this because the inserts are so lightweight it seems easy to lose one down the drain.) Once everything was dry, I started filling! I used the included funnel but a lot of the spices stuck to the silicon and it was annoying. Rolling a piece of paper into a funnel worked much better for the finer spices. I also tried to work in batches that wouldn't impact each other too much if I didn't clean between every fill - e.g.: do cloves, then nutmeg, then cinnamon, then pumpkin pie spice - they're all substitutes for each other anyway so if something gets in another one, no harm! I love that the labels come with practically any spice you can think of, as well as some blanks. They are easy to apply and remove - I know because I was a bit of a perfectionist in applying them and had to peel a couple off here and there to try again. Hanging it up... We decided to hang it under a little island/counter thing in the middle of the kitchen. It's great to have the extra counter space but since the counter thing is so thin, it's almost like wasted space to us where we just toss cases of beverages underneath... we don't own or we might install shelves. It's an awkward space. Hanging the spice rack under there helps us use that awkward space and makes it easy to access while we are prepping on top of it or cooking opposite it. And since the jars tilt up when they lay in the rack, having it hang low is not a problem because we can still see all the labels! One side of the rack hangs in a stud and the other side is in drywall so we used the included screws and anchors no problem. It's been a few weeks and it hasn't budged. (Pro tip: charge your drill while you clean, fill, and label the jars!) I didn't need the little rubber feet included but in case I need them in the future, I clipped them on the bottom for safe keeping. Now when we need spices, I buy in bulk from a local organic store (MOM's, but I am sure Whole Foods does this too?). I feel like this is reducing waste and encouraging me to use all of these flavors! Overall suuuuuper happy with this purchase! This is a great investment to make in your kitchen and you will not regret it (unless you don't buy a big enough rack, perhaps). It would be even more amazing if the top of the rack had a little shelf. We kept a couple spice grinders for the added freshness and I sit them on the top row of spices but it's not exactly sturdy. If these are stackable and the shelf would get in the way, then maybe a clip-on removable thing.

I can see all my spices now!
I love almost everything about this spice rack. These glass jars are the perfect shape and size, and I realized that some brands already sell spices in the same jar shape so that saves me a few jars that I can use later on for new spices. The rack sits on my counter without using the screws it came with. The weight the filled jars seems to do a good enough job weighing it down so it doesn't tip over. The little funnel it comes with made it easier to put my spices in. I spent about close to 2.5-3 hours one afternoon putting all my spices in the jars. I was amazed at how many duplicates I had! My most favorite thing about this is that I really love how easy it is to see at a glance all the spices I have. Before, I would spend several minutes going through my cabinets searching for what I needed or making a run to the grocery because I thought I was out of something when really it was just hiding under other spices. I think I am using more of my spices now that I can see them all out in the open. I agree with the other reviewers who suggest putting the sticker on after you've closed the metal lid. I forgot to do that so many of mine aren't perfectly aligned but it's good enough that I can read them without having to tilt my head so it's no biggie if you forget too. The little white marker is also a nice addition. I haven't needed it yet but I have it on the bottom shelf so I don't lose it. I especially liked all the sticker options it came with, and a double sided printed list of all the spice names that helped me organize myself. I highly recommend getting the 36 jar option, you will be surprised at how quickly you will fill up most if not all of your jars. I have only about 6 jars left and hardly any room left in the rack. I think my only complaint is in the little plastic lid on the jar itself (once you unscrew the metal lid) for pouring out the spices. The holes are a little bigger than I would prefer. The first time I shook some salt and I poured out way too much too fast, so I quickly learned to be careful in how much I shake so that not too much pours out. So I do wish the holes were a little bit smaller or there were at least two variety in sizes so you could swap them out depending on your spice needs as some spices do need the larger holes. The other side of this plastic lid has a little piece that you can pop open to pour out in greater quantities. Mine seem to have a bit of trouble staying up on it's own so I try holding it open with one hand and holding the spoon with the other and I end up making a bit of a mess because I either pour too little or too much. (Although maybe I'm supposed to push it farther back? I worry it might break if I do that). So instead what I do is I just pop off the entire plastic lid to put my measuring spoon in and that solves my problem and then I pop the little lid back on when I'm done. I have considered removing the plastic lid permanently on some of the jars, but there are those times where you just need a sprinkle and the holes, while a little big, do help with that so that you don't accidentally dump the entire contents. Ideally, I wish that side of the lid was wider and that the little flap stayed up on it's own so that I could fit at least some of the smaller measuring spoons into the jar without removing the whole lid and to make pouring out easier. In the midst of cooking, sometimes this small delay of fussing with getting that plastic lid off gets in my way. Except for those two things, I really, really love my spice rack. It was a gift from my mom and I highly recommend it for your kitchen!

Absolutely OUTSANDING 4-tier, 36 jar Spice Rack with jars and labels. Exactly what I wanted!!
I am a Professional Home and Personal Chef and I also teach cooking skills. I take all of my kitchen items, tools, utensils, knives, serving items, and other accessories very seriously and when I test and review culinary items, I am highly critical and meticulous in evaluating and rating them. My reviews are honest and unbiased. Good is good…bad is bad! This 4-tiered, 36 jar spice rack is EXACTLY what I was looking and hoping for. It is about as perfect for my use as is humanly possible! As a Professional Chef, I have many spices and always looking for other unique flavors, spices, and herbs from all over the world. As a result, I am constantly adding to my collection and need ever-increasing, visible storage for easy use and access. This rack fits the bill in spades! PROS * The entire rack is made of high-quality metal framing for either stand-alone or wall-mounting. * When used free-standing, it is very stable and secure, without swaying or other issues. * When mounted to a wall, it is rock-solid and mounting hardware is included in the package. * The jars are made of robust and quality glass. Fully transparent and strong. * The sift/pour plastic caps are also high quality and easy to attach or remove from the jars for filling. * The screw tops are of good metal construction, properly made, fit perfectly, and are liquid and airtight. * The jars fit the shelves perfectly and at an angle that makes for easy retrieval as well as comfortable reading of the cap labels without having to bend down. * When free-standing the rack, it is easy to lift and move the whole rack without disturbing the jars in order to clean and sanitize counters underneath. * Comes with a large silicone funnel than other brand's racks, which makes loading the jars a breeze! I was able to load all 36 jars very quickly thanks to the funnel! * Comes with 396 black round labels that can be perfectly fitted to the metal screw caps, or to the jar sides. 340 are preprinted with many common and uncommon items, as well as 56 blanks labels for specialty items that can be marked with the fine-tipped white marker pen that is also included. * Unlike some other company's labels, all 340 preprinted labels are set out on sheets in alphabetical order for locating ease. (Some companies randomly place their preprinted labels on sheets, making it a chore to find a specific label). Additionally, the set comes with a separate sheet listing every preprinted label so that you quickly know whether a specific item label exists. VERY SMART! (There are many that I have found on that list...either spices or items I didn't know existed, as well as items that had slipped my mind when shopping for spices) * All the parts of the jars are food safe and BPA-Free. No health issues at all and jars are easy to clean! To say that I am extremely pleased with this Spice Rack would be an understatement. It meets and exceeds all the metrics that I researched before deciding and purchasing the right rack. As a professional Chef, it functions perfectly in my kitchen, with easy access to the spices I need at the moment while leaving counter space open for prep and other needs. It especially helps my anal-retentive OCD about kitchen organization!! (The bane of every Chef!) 😆 I like this so much that I have additionally ordered SWOMMOLY's 3-tiered and narrower 18 jars, identical spice rack to supplement this one with more spices to have ready at hand. I would have ordered SWOMMOLY's 6-tiered, 72 jar rack if it would have fit my counter space...and I still might in the near future for use in the commercial kitchen I use when preparing foods for my catering contracts. I have no hesitation in firmly rating this rack system at a VERY high FIVE STARS. It also earns my professionally honest and strong recommendation for anyone who needs to organize and store their spices and other small items ready for use in the kitchen. (Some crafters might also find this rack and jars excellent for storing small crafting items ready at hand). Simply put...OUTSTANDING! Bon Appetit! *If you found my review helpful to you, please let Amazon know by clicking the "HELPFUL" button below!
