Do these wear out after so many washings?

I believe it recommends washing every 6 months, so washing more frequently may cause faster wearing out. I've washed them a couple of times in the 4 months I've used them, and they held up nicely so far.

What country are these made in?

It says they are crafted in the Southeastern U.S.

Where are these made?

Germany I believe. It's been a while since I purchased them.

Do you need additonal pillowcase on top of this protector? THanks.

Yes, put pillowcase on, easier to wash pillowcases.
