Perfect for Teaching Young Skiers!
This harness has been an absolute game-changer for me and my three-year-old! Teaching a little one to ski can be quite the adventure, but with this harness, it's been smooth sailing. The quality is top-notch, providing the perfect balance of support and freedom for my little learner. Plus, the adjustable straps ensure a snug fit every time.I love how easy it is to use, making those first ski outings stress-free and enjoyable for both of us. My kiddo feels secure and confident, and I feel at ease knowing they're safe as they zip down the slopes. Whether they're cruising on skis or a snowboard, this harness has been a huge asset in their learning journey.Overall, I can't recommend this product enough! It's durable, practical, and most importantly, it gets the job done.

Priceless
I saw a child fall 20’ from a chairlift at a resort in Central PA in February 2024. Fortunately the child appeared to be okay considering. I’m easily able to hold the handle on my daughter’s back while riding the lift. I also used to handle to essentially carry her off the lift to navigate a crash of skiers unloading in front of us that should’ve prompted the operator to stop the lift. The handle is STRONG; disclaimer, my daughter is 42” tall, 40-45 lbs.I use the handle for one handed fall recoveries all day long the few times she crashes. The elastic leashes are great too. They are long enough that I can ski next to her while keeping tension off the leashes, which should be the goal. They are only intended to give you control if needed, otherwise keep the tension off and let them learn.

Training harness works great!
I bought the Launch Pad Ski and Snowboard Training Harness so we could help my 4yo niece learn to snow ski. Our first time using it was a great success! The harness was easy to get on her and adjust so she was comfortable. The straps tuck into the back pocket of the harness and are easily accessible when we're ready to go down the hill. We could control her speed and pull very gently on alternating straps to help her turn. She felt very comfortable with us using it with her and I think it gave her the confidence to practice without going too fast. After about an hour and a half, she was skiing down the bunny slope on her own. This harness will be priceless when it's time to go on the chairlift and tackle a bigger mountain. The handle on the back makes it easy to pick her up when she falls and I think it will help with getting her on and off the chairlift. This was a great purchase!

Great for teaching my grandson to ski
So glad I bought this harness. I don't think I would have survived the constant lifting of my grandson on his first day skiing. The built in handle was terrific for helping him up.I really like that the harness has built in elastic to help absorb any shock as you use the tethers to help control and guide the student. And the included pocket in the back was perfect for stowing the tethers for the lift ride.I only expect to need this for a few more sessions, but it was well worth the investment.

Must have for toddler skiers.
This harness is a must if you are teaching a toddler to ski. We tried not to use the tethers for long. As soon as our son could slow down/stop, we took the tethers off, since it’s a bit awkward to ski behind him, while using them. The best thing about the harness is the handle on the back that you use to pull your child up. It makes getting on the ski left so much easier. We also used the handle, if our kiddo fell and absolutely couldn’t get up. We bought one of these when our kiddo was 21 months and he still uses it at 5 y/o. He skis black diamond runs, but we still put the harness on every time, to help with the chair lift. Highly recommend this harness. Our recent purchase was for a family member. We were so glad to find the same one that we already loved.

Perfect for young skiers learning!
I used this with 4 year old teaching him to ski first time and could not be happier I got it before we went. I was able to pick him up easily with the strap on the back, without bending over much at all saving my back from hurting. By the end of the weekend I transitioned from holding him up by the shoulder straps with him between my legs to using the leash with him in front of me. He was able to start feeling more confident skiing without being out of control (or running into other skiers because I could stop him). This seriously was a great purchase and so many people on slope commented on it wondering where I got it. I rarely post reviews but this product definitely deserved it.

Definitely a must have
I purchased because a blogger who skis with her young kids said this item is a must have for 2, 3, 4 year olds learning to ski. My son was a month shy of 3 years old when I purchased. Best skiing item we bought! Leash straps work great going down the hills! The handle on back pack is a complete lifesaver! A 2/3 year old has a hard time getting back up on their own. It's easy to use the handle to get them standing back up using the handle. I can literally lift my 36+ kid up off the ground and position him where he should be. The handle also works great to stear your child where you'd like to go, such as the ski lift. As you hold the strap upwards and ski forward with them at your side, you don't knock them over because you are holding them up. Seriously a must have. I have no doubt this item will last a year or two with no wear, and be able to be resold to be used by someone else.

Leashes can be longer
Leashes can be longer to give the kid better range of movement. Yet is too soon to rate durability, but until now was good.

Great Product!
Used this winter for my 6 yr old daughter who is over the bunny hill and only wants to go on big runs. Quality product, looks good, comfortable to use for both the parent and the child. Straps are great length and have some flex which is ideal and doesn't jerk them at all. Easy to pack up at the bottom and ideal for helping smaller children get on chair lift and provide piece of mind while holding handle on the chair rides up the mountain. Leashes enable the adult skier behinds to turn properly and control the speed of the child on even the steepest (black diamond) runs.

Fantastic product, easy to use with confidence.
A great product, the bungee section allows control without harsh braking, son finds the harness comfortable to wear and the handle gives easy pickup and feels safe to secure child whilst on chair lift. Awesome product. Highly recommended. I'm a ski patroller teaching my two year old to ski and love the way he is growing in skill and confidence with this harness. I'm pretty sure it will be still functioning when our 2 month old son starts learning to ski in a couple of years time.

Love this
Loved this. Easy to use and comfortable for child. Love how strings have a bit of give to them with bungee. Had the MEC waist harness and thought this preformed much better for controlling turns and was more comfortable for child
