This is so easy to install and makes life so much easier. I wish I’d got this sooner. It took me less than 10 minutes to install and the app works perfect. There’s also a back up mechanical unlock feature which works perfect. I wish it was a bit cheaper as I’d fit one to our garage door too. Hopefully they’ll come down in price. The quality is fantastic and feels well made. One slight issue seems to be when my partner and I return home together, the lock won’t automatically open but does when we arrive home separately.

Beautiful, robust smart lock that does the job very well. Installation easy and with very intuitive and easy to use app. Battery life 2 years, which I haven’t found with the competitor. Using the Bold 2 weeks and very happy so far!

Nice looking lock and easy to install. Wouldn't lock the door so you could just open it. Also I could only lock the door at night if I either woke the lock up by opening the door and pressing the by button or via the app. Have ordered a Danalock (ultion) will see if this is any better.

The locks and ap working as it should but the geofencing is very hot and miss sometimes taking 30 minutes to work so you need to get your phone out and unlock with the ap other times it works when your 100 meters away and times out before you get chance to unlock the door Shame as that's the main reason I bought it

I bought two of these - front and utility doors. Very easy to install. You have to get your head around how to lock/unlock, as in the video. As long as you realise 1. Push button (inside door, phone or clicker) 2. Turn to lock/unlock 3. Use handle to open You can also use the "pin code" - this is like a safe - et. 2 to the right, 4 to the left etc. This is the failsafe. It us slightly less easy to get the hang of, but ok.

Got this for my front door in Ireland and the install couldn't have been simpler. Biggest thing to watch out for is to get the measurements correct so you have the right clearance on your door lock (basically it is the thickness of your door that decides what lock to get). Follow the instructions from Bold BEFORE ordering, and you should be fine. If you are going to err, err on the long side instead of the short side when ordering.

I did a lot of research before buying Bold. My door sometimes requires an adjustment to be locked, so the motorized smart lock is not for me. The long battery life is another consideration. Bold is very easy to install; both the lock and the app. It works perfectly as expected. I don't have to carry the key anymore. Love this lock!
