Unbiased Review!!! Does what it promises...
I ordered this cleanse to complete my last 9 days of 8 weeks of diligent dieting after a couple of months of over-indulging while my husband was deployed. Prior to, I'd done 5 strict weeks of Body for Life and lost 7lbs (I only had 15-20 to lose). It arrived fast and I was able to start on time. I didn't do the first two pre-cleanse days because I thought you needed extra shake powder to do so and the instructions weren't clear about this. A little research on my part would have answered the question but oh well. Honestly, the first deep cleanse day was REALLY hard and I probably considered quitting three times an hour. The thing that kept me honest was the amount of $ I had invested! Once I got through that day the second deep-cleanse day was totally fine. This thing is really mind over matter. On the 3rd morning I'd lost 3 lbs! The shake days were uneventful. Frankly I think the shake powder is pretty bad-tasting (I had vanilla, but the cleanse liquid was tasty) so I added a lot of water, ice, and and cinnamon most times. I tried adding fruit a couple of times but got heartburn both times. As the days went on I did cheat a bit (6 almonds here and there, an apple, a green salad one day) but never anything truly unhealthy. I think I was just hungry and the looser my clothes got, the less motivated I was to starve! Plus the Isagenix Snacks are NOT delicious at all! I did stick to my normal workouts on the shake days, no working out on deep cleanse days. By the last two cleanse days I'd lost a lot of steam. Day 8 I had an apple and some almond butter during the day. I did, by the way, have TONS of energy throughout the whole 9 days and felt very light and no cravings other than just to eat in general. On day 9 I started the day feeling good but fantasizing about getting back to my Body for Life eating with 5-6 small meals per day. Around 11 am I was out shopping and was all of a sudden overcome by nausea, stomach cramps, and sweating. I sat down for a minute and honestly thought I was about to vomit or worse in public so rushed to the bathroom. Nothing happened and after about 5 minutes I felt better. But it was then that I decided enough was enough. I was happy with my progress, my clothes were fitting, but clearly my body needed a meal! I ate (a very unhealthy taco bell) lunch, and later had a shake for dinner. As of the next morning I was down 5.5 lbs, felt great, tons of energy, no cravings, and clothes fitting! Overall I was very pleased with this program and I'd definitely do it again! I wouldnt consider a longer course or long-term use because I think there are much tastier protein powders out there and I think the Natural Accelerator and Isagenix Snacks are gimmicky and near-useless. One thing I found highly annoying about this company is the way they flood the Internet with positive reviews by people selling the product, making it very difficult to find an unbiased Isagenix review. Hopefully mine will help! Oh, and there was not enough powder to make all the cleanse liquid required but since I dropped out early it didn't end up mattering. I would say I was at least 1 serving (2 scoops) short. I suspect it's because they go by weight and don't factor in that little moisture-preventing packet buried in the powder.

Quick Drop, Then Plateau
I ordered this off Amazon and waited until I had the days to do it. I didn't do the 2 day pre-cleanse (which really drags the 9 day cleanse out to 11 days), but just started on the two day deep cleanse. The berry cleanse does taste icky, just mix it with warm water to dissolve, then mix with a little cold and suck it down quick! I didn't read the directions carefully, so only used one scoop (instead of 2 for the deep cleanse) the first day. As people said, the first two days are the hardest, but with the Natural Accelerator capsules I did have energy. The so-called Isagenix "snacks" were awful- tasted like vanilla rolaids. I refused to eat them after the first time, and ate 2 raw almonds (same calories) instead when it called for the snack. After two days of the deep cleanse, I was very happy to discover I'd lost 5 pounds, since I only expected (from what I read of the product) to lose 6 to 7. I shouldn't have started celebrating just yet. The shake days were very easy to follow. I didn't like the taste of the shake, but it was bearable with ice cubes and a little cinnamon sprinkled on top. It is not at all sweet and it did give me energy. I opted for the 400-600 calorie meals for lunch and dinner as opposed to drinking shakes, as I would rather eat real food and that was very doable. I mostly had 400 calorie meals, which meant 800 calories for the day, plus the 240 calories in the shake, so I was eating a little more than 1000 calories per day. The bad new is, after starting to eat "real food" on the shake days, I went up a pound and stayed there for the rest of the 7 days. While I was supposed to do two more cleanse days at the end, I didn't because I had tennis one day and a run the other, and couldn't operate without the shake calories. So, all in all, I lost 4 pounds in 9 days, which isn't bad, but not the amazing results I'd hoped for. I totally went off it the day after it was over (Sunday), but am back on it as a shake in the morning and two 400-600 calorie well-rounded meals for lunch and dinner, with a half an apple or almonds for a snack. I plan to keep doing it until my shake runs out and hopefully I will get down to my desired weight- I have five more pounds to go. So, I would recommend the product, with reservations. Know that it tastes bad and if you want to continue it, it is an expensive option unless you're a rep of Isagenix and stay away from those nasty "snacks".

Cleanse
I ordered this product after one of my friends had great results with the 30 day system. I wanted to try the 9 day to see if I liked the product before I spent a lot of money on the 30 day system. I needed something to put me back on track after the holidays. I am on my last deep cleanse day and I have lost 5 1/2 lbs. Now, my weight usually fluctuates so it's hard to go by weight. But overall I feel a lot less bloated and just feel generally better. The first 2 deep cleanse days were really hard because you can't eat, but I managed through it. The isa snack things are horrible, I had to gag them down with a lot of water. Everything else tastes pretty good. The shake days were actually pretty easy. I mix a handful of frozen fruit with my shakes and they are really good. I didn't feel hungry or have any side effects on Shake days. I ordered the 30 day system and am going to start that tomorrow. I am hoping for some great results!
