Good kit. Purchased a pre cut kit off eBay and used this kit to install. Saved lots of $$ doing it myself.

Perfect kit for DIY tinting or installing film. Durable and has everything you need except the heat gun.

The kit itself leaves little to be desired in terms of what’s provided and with a little gumption online, you can find out how to use all of them flawlessly with one exception: the “Exact-O” knife. This thing is SO incredibly dull, don’t expect to make it though paper without more than a solid effort and the chances of getting through quality film (Gila Blackout) are basically none. I replaced the blades twice, cut it on a solid granite counter, and then transitioned to the tile flooring and each time it would grab and rip at the materiel, meaning those little precise cuts that are needed for the edges are practically impossible so that “Pro Look” isn’t in the wheelhouse. And god help you if you’re splicing, the only thing you’ll accomplish is to destroy TWO sets of the tint! I’ll admit, I’m not a pro, hence the purchase, but of all the things that needs to be on point, this one missed the mark with arguably the most important tool being a dud. Fork over the extra $10 and get a quality cutting tool, you won’t regret it.

I bought this to put window cling on the house windows. I've used the random credit card and box cutter before with ok results. But I was adding cling to all the windows for blocking out the sun. I figured it would be nice to have everything together. I have used every tool this kit has and I've done 3 full windows so far without and ripples, tears or bubbles in the film. I love the scraper and the felt scrapers the most. You think you're cleaning your window until you run the scraper over it. And the felt scrapers are great going over the cling film. It glides easily and doesn't snag on the anything. It's definitely worth buying especially at this cost. You will love this kit and use it's parts in so many other ways. I started using the felt ones with my Cricut projects and and it's been a game changer with smoothing this out better with the transfers.
