Warning: Using on wood surfaces may cause fire.
Had to return the product. Unlike larger models, Dewalt's 75 000 BTU and smaller kerosene heaters are NOT to be used on wood surfaces, such as floors, as this may cause a fire hazard. This is not part of the product description, but stressed in the instruction manual, a bit of information that could have saved me much trouble.Otherwise: The package is rather heavy, but well packed and the product is protected during transit. The unit is well built out of fairly thick metal and the instruction manual, while brief, is accurate and complete.

Where is the performance and integrity of products made in America????
Repairs had to be made, unit was not even a year old. Pass this product by....I had to find my own certified service tech close by, the manufacture had me traveling to another state, the manufacture said over the phone these problems usually are solve over the phone call, you have water in your kerosene that is the reason for no ignition..they lied. over a hundred dollars repairs, parts, labor....very sad there was a time I remember when the name Dewalt ranked among the best products made in America...today it's a crap shoot if you get a product that has been quality control checked and will last at least 1 to 2 years
