Edit: after writing this review the company reached out and offered to refund the purchase IF I TAKE DOWN THIS REVIEW. No, you should refund it or replace it because it's a defective product, not as a means of bribery. The refund isn't that important to me.I must have gotten the bad one? Because after writing on ONE PAGE, the binding broke. So now I either have to transfer what I've written into another book, attempt to fix this binding, or treat the thing delicately and try to keep using it and cross my fingers the rest doesn't fall apart.

I wanted to like these, but there is something wrong with the pages. It's almost like a wax is coated over the pages and it makes it hard to write on. Sometimes ink will not transfer to the page because of this wax like substance. I will say that this happens on random pages at random times, but it has really caused me to dislike the book. Everything else about it is great, but it's main function is lacking and that is why I have to give it two stars. I would not recommend these to anyone sorry.

I was looking for a small notebook I could potentially carry in a front of back pocket that wasn't the standard "cheap-O" notepads. This is great. Small sleeve in the front. Medium accordion pocket in the back. The pages aren't overly flimsy. They are numbered, which is nice. I got this notepad November 2020 and I agree with some of the other reviewers - they aren't all tear away pages. Only the last half seem to be. The whole way through would have been nice, or none at all. Coming from consulting you typically can't have ANY tear away pages if it's a legal notepad. So pick one! They're all numbered, so that helps, but still - I wanted tear away so I could pitch out some of the pages as needed. The ribbon does help to track what page you left off on. It does come with some sticky note "tabs" for marking things. I bought a small "NarwhalCo" pen. 3" roughly. Super small. I should've waited as most standard pens don't extend past the notepad, but a small pen is nice to have and it's super light. Plus the NarwhalCo pens have free lifetime refills (2 refills, twice per year).

I love how uniform they look on my bookshelf and I loved how I could use my favorite pens without it bleeding through. I purchased the 2 pack 4 different times because I was so impressed with these little notebooks.However, I am so incredibly disappointed that the paper has changed and now I can’t even use my pens (that I specifically bought for journaling) on them because of how BADLY they bleed.I had originally planned to purchase another pack when I filled up my new notebooks but now I’m gonna have to look elsewhere.

Wow! I wanted a notebook I could keep in my nursing school uniform during my clinical rotations. I was so disappointed when I tried to tear out a piece of paper, the first piece of paper and the binding completely detached from the spine. This is very annoying. I’m definitely returning this. Quality is abysmal. Could have gone to the 99 cent store and bought this there.

The quality is good but they stated the sheets were tearable. Only a few random pages toward the end have perforations? Not sure if this is by design or a manufacturing flaw?

I've used books like this for years, but this one had so many great little details that I wanted to give it a review. The paper is thick but not excessively so. Many of these types of books seem to have a coating on the paper that sometimes make it difficult to write on, I haven't had that issue with this one. The perforated pages at the end are genius. Other books when you tear out a page, you're likely to ruin the binding. The pocket in the back is a perfect addition. And finally, the colored flags they throw in just puts it over the top. The only thing I don't know yet is whether the elastic band that keeps the book closed will stretch out too much but because of the pocket it won't matter as much.

Needed something to keep a daily diary for my doctor. This is a nice notebook that is pocket size. Needed it quick and got it quick. Would give it 5 stars, but the price is just too high. At $10 for 2, they are not worth it unless you are like me and needed it quickly. Probably would be better at $5 for 2 of them but definitely not worth $5 each.
