Philips Water GoZero - Smart UV - Black - Large, AWP2788BK

Seems logical to use. Worried that will lose the charger as it unique to the bottle but seems good

Love this bottle - sturdy and well worth the money.

I got this to replace another brand. I have Bronchiectasis meaning I am at greater risk of ntm and other potentislly waterborne virsues. I Rather than only drinking bottled water I like to br able to use my filtered water with the added uv cleaning. Sadly after it's second charge it's just stopped working and won't charge no matter how long it's plugged in. I expect much more for my money

Liked the concept of drinking fresh, sanitised and odourless water. Use it to carry tap water from home and then drink at work - its a flask so keeps liquid hot/ cold for hours. Battery does last 30 days on a single charge. High food grade stainless steel so always clean, dishwasher safe (bottom part). Confidence that it is 99.999% bacteria free and no odours in the bottle after months of use. However charging circuit went faulty and had to be refunded. Purchased another and that went dead within days and was replaced. Current one performing well. Has a 2 year warranty though.

For the price i’m relatively happy. However first bottle I received flashed constantly and didn’t work. Online search reveals the specific light flash meant ‘return to Phillips’ - amazon exchanged though and happily using fine ever since. Seems to be a fairly common fault with these. Washed the bottle in the dishwasher a couple of times with no ill effects. (Just rinse the cap!) Doesn’t fit my cup holders in the car as the base is too wide, which is a shame so relegated to my work bag.

I bought a Super Sparrow at the same time and it beats the GoZero on every metric including. The sparrow is a lot less bulky but insulates better probably due to a better vacuum. The GoZero has an annoying shoulder under the neck that causes last of drink to glug and spill. If you open the GoZero while UV is on it no longer auto cleans, you seem to have to hold the button for 15 seconds to reset the feature on. GoZero has no discernible charge indicator. The GoZero is heavy, yes the cap is made well but is really, really heavy. The GoZero screw cap needs two hands. The GoZero neck is too narrow for large ice cubes. I could go on.

At first it was great, it occasionally wouldn’t turn on and took a couple of attempts (flashing green or amber, even after a full charge) but now it’s flashing amber or green more often than I can get it to turn on. It’s not great quality but it does a good of keeping the water/bottle clean. Shame it’s not good quality

Ich habe diese Flasche auf Reisen schon mehrfach dabei gehabt und verwende die UV Funktion zusammen mit einem Katadyn Filter. Auch Leitungswasser in den Tropen oder an Flughäfen konnte ich damit trinken ohne krank zu werden. Sehr gut, wenn man nicht ständig Plastikflaschen hernehmen will. Leider fällt ein niedriger Batteriestand nicht so einfach auf, im Zweifel muss die Flasche neu eingeschaltet werden und ein Reinigungszyklus (3min) laufen. Keine unangenehmen Gerüche mehr! Leider etwas klobig, dafür ist das Wasser auch nach ein paar Stunden im in der Sonne geparkten Auto noch angenehm kühl!

Great product does everything it claims battery longevity is good. I brought many other brands of these UV bottles and whilst they were effective at sterilisation and cleaning they did not last very long. This Phillips... I just should have brought from the start. Don't waste your money with the other brands they're late or battery will fail
