Kärcher 4.591 040.0 Charge – Channel Complete

My power washer's engine ran just fine. But when I would pull the trigger on the spray gun, it wouldn't put out pressurized water. For a couple of years, I could just pull the trigger a few times, and it would eventually "catch" and start spraying pressurized water. But this year, I simply could not get it to work. I replaced the spray gun and the hose, and I removed the unloader valve to inspect it. I thought the valve looked OK (I could compress it with my fingers), but what do I really know about uploader valves? I lubricated it and put it back in. Still nothing. So I took a chance and bought this valve, greased it with lithium grease, and put it into the pressure washer. Buttoned everything back up, and it works great now! So if you have the symptoms I described, it might be worth this small investment to get your washer running good as new. Wish I had done this 2 years ago.

From new, Karcher 2400 PSI pressure washer would intermittently lose pressure. Could remove the tip, burp it, and it was good again until trigger released. Pressure washer now works like it should have from the beginning.

My Costco Karcher pressure washer served excellently for me for many years. Then I got the no pressure problem when I pulled the trigger in the middle of cleaning my mower. Researched the heck out of pressure washer fixes and bought (this valve) and replaced the under load valve in the pump.Received the item as promised by eReplacement and items replacement has solved the issue.Thanks to all of the support that is out there in la la land leaving your comments to allow diyers like me to fix their own stuff. Initially, when this all the problem causing my washer, intermittently stop water flow. Worked flawlessly for about eight hours, and now the problem has recurred but not as bad I did purchase the appropriate grease recommended for installation, make sure the intake screen was clear and water flow adequate. Despite that, The same problem appearance to be reoccurring, but not as frequently. We’ll take a part the valves again to see whether the new part is failing. If another problem has developed causing the fluctuating flow, I would give this purchase a five star rating.

O ring on 2009 karcher unloader spill valve broke, bought this one as replacement. Have not installed yet, going to match oring to place on old one and keep as spare. Pull yours regularly and lube it. It will last a long time. It gets calcium and lime deposits that need to be cleaned regularly.Update: had to install when our second pressure washer pump's upper seal blew out about 20 minutes before completing a big job. Installed quickly and works great. Saved the day.

The previous valve was stuck which just about stalled the engine and sprayed water out the cover. The new valve will release the pressure but has some issues with regaining pressure once the trigger is pulled.
