I love my Darbuka drum. It's beautiful,it's light weight and it sound wonderfull. Im amazed of its rich tones. Big sound. I introduced my Egyptian drum to all jonre of music He didn't mindone bit. It has a nice sound, but it is heavy compared to my other datbuka.

Darbuka itself is good but packaging was awaful
Darbuka is quite good but they used scotch on the membrane to attach the key and I spent at least half an hour trying to remove the stickiness (left on the surface after I tore off scotch) and not to scratch the membrane.Why did you do that? There is plenty of space on the inside of darbuka to scotch the key.

Good drum, I was worried for how cheap it was
Has a good sound it's a lot of fun. I just need to remember to shut my windows before I play at 10pm or I won't have many friends in the neighborhood.
