The leash goes in your harness straps amd the other end on the board.

The extension rope is 30" and the line inside the leash housing is around 9'3".

which model is this? there are three differen't ones

It is supposed to be the newest model. There is no rubber tubing around the black rope which attaches to the board. I have been out in the water once. It works fine
