Where does the water drain into?

With mine into kitchen sink & or watering can for my porch plants. Put on kitchen counter while washing.

for twin tub users--how many minutes to wash? how many minutes to rinse? how many times do you rinse?

I mainly wash clothes for 15 minutes per load. I rinse the clothes for the same length of time I washed them. I found that I only have to rinse once if I only add 1 -2 teaspoons detergent when washing (note: I use liquid washing detergent). I rinse a 2nd time if I notice the rinse water is sudsy at the end of the rinse cycle.

Does the hose that drains water, need to be lower than this machine?

I set this light weight washer on my summer cooler for it's the right size in my kitchen near the sink and plug, with the hose in one pail, and another pail in my sink for easy filling!

I Rinse my loads 3 minutes at the most, and then spin for 3 min. Sometimes I just swish my clothes in the rinse water w fabric softener with my hand and throw them in the spinner! I do all my wash in washer first with hot soapy water, spin1 minute and put a side for the rinse cycle!
