Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 | PC/Mac Disc

When it comes to editing photos you can't do better than PhotoShop. Of course, the Elements version is more for amateur, but the professional one, PhotoShop Ps, is more of a subscription service that is geared for professional photographers. I have used both. The Ps version has more bells and whistles than the Elements version, but the learning curve is higher and the truth is that the Elements version will do almost everything that the Ps version will do. So, if you are a professional photographer, it's a no brainer. Buy the subscription to Ps. However, if you are an amateur, then don't' waste your money on Ps. The Elements version is probably all you need. I enjoyed the Ps version, but it's not worth the money unless you use it all the time. Trust me, the Elements version is also amazing and you won't believe the stuff you can do with it. I also recommend Lightroom. It's not an either or sort of thing. You should purchase both PhotoShop Elements and Lightroom. I do not like the way Lightroom is set up, but once you get used to it, you will find that it saves a lot of time fixing exposure and white balance issues really fast. I first edit photos in Lightroom to correct exposure and white balance issues and then I edit them again in PhotoShop to make creative changes, like cropping, changing backgrounds, opening eyes, adding people in a photo, removing objects, etc. There is no doubt that PhotoShop Elements will take your photography to a new level. Highly recommended.

This is the software program that my digital photography and digital painting students purchase for the college courses that I teach.If you are serious about editing photos this is the software program that I recommend. It does "most" of what the full version of Photoshop CC does. One of the nice features of learning Photoshop Elements is that there is a lot of free instructional materials on the internet. Plus, it is so similar to the full version of Photoshop CC that it is relatively easy to transfer that knowledge to the full version of Photoshop if you decide that you want to subscribe to Adobe's Photoshop Creative Cloud.I hope you find the video helpful.

Wow! There is just so much in this program. I have very specific things that I want to do with my photos and this program makes that possible. However I find it quite difficult to find quality instructions as to how to use it. I've got a couple of books that help, but I still spend a lot of time floundering. Once I figure out how to do something it's quite amazing, but it's not always easy.

I had been using Photoshop Elements version 10 for many years. But after upgrading my Mac, I could no longer use it because version 10 is a 32-bit app and the latest macOS only supports 64-bit apps.So I bought version 2021 as a replacement. Adobe made some changes to the UI over the years that I don't like - like the fact that I can no longer turn off the workspace background - but the app works and it wasn't a major learning curve moving from version 10.Upgrading issues aside, Photoshop Elements remains a great photo editor at a great price. It does everything I require and I suspect everything most non-professional users require, and at a price far far less than a Creative Cloud subscription.

When I had to buy a new Windows computer, I found I could not transfer my previous copy of regular Photoshop to the new computer. As a long-time user, I greatly appreciate Photoshop, and wanted to keep it. So I tried Elements. Adobe Photoshop Elements has different menu names, which I quickly learned, and does every bit as good a job for non-professionals as the original Photoshop. Moreover, it is a one-time good value purchase.

I had all sorts of high hopes for photoshop. But they quickly deflated.1. It took almost an hour to install. Really? I could have calculated the meaning of life in less time.2. It needs a wizard to walk you through the initial steps. I fumbled and fumbled trying to import photos. My goal was to set up a catalog, e.g., Cruise to the Baltic with subfolders for the various ports. If it can be done I don't know how as it wasn't very obvious. And I developed software in my younger days. Pity Mom and Pops trying to use this.3. On occasion I'd get a message suggesting I'm using a trial copy. What???4. On exit it noted there was an update. OK - I expect that. The update started, got to 6% and errored out. I did this twice. The errors suggested the turn off my anti virus software and firewall and run again. THAT ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN.5. I returned the software. Thank you Amazon for a great return policy.

Due upgrading my PC Operating System, needed to purchase Elements 2021, upgrading from Elements 2015.Still provides great photo & video editing capabilities to bring out the best in pics & videos,along with alot more updates & features in the new version.No problems encountered installing on Windows 10 O/S.Great value in purchasing it as a Amazon Warehouse deal!

I had initially expected receipt of a disc from which to install the software. In the event, it required download from the software provider, Focussoftware, via Mega. While I was able to download the relevant files onto my PC and install the software, it would not run, nor would it allow me to exit without the assistance of task manager. Focussoftware were sympathetic, but ultimately unable to offer a solution. Language difficulties probably didn't help. I concede that the fault may lie with my PC, but I can't prove it. I was left with no option but to request a refund, which Amazon/Focussoftware facilitated without fuss. Based on these observations, it was difficult to decide on an overall rating - I arbitrarily selected three stars to split the difference, and to be fair to all parties.

Ease of use.
