Amazing Budget Earbuds
These were my first earbud purchase after needing something smaller to carry around than my over head Bluetooth headphones. Most importantly the noise quality is excellent for the price, however it is very bass heavy, which is fine for me as I like my low frequencies but I can see some people not liking it depending on the genre you’re listening to, but it’s nothing some tweaks on an equaliser on Spotify, Apple Music, etc can’t fix. The noise reduction works really well, I’ve tried it on a bus and it does block out mostly everything, this definitely helps if you’re like me and hate background noise when trying to listen to music and it means you can do so without having to turn the volume all the way up. From what I’ve seen these are the only ones which include noise reduction at this price. The ambiance mode I don’t use, but I tried it and can see the appeal if you don’t like to isolate yourself from everyone else when listening to the headphones, it does mean the music sounds very ‘tingy’ so it’s a pointless feature for me who likes to concentrate on the music I’m listening to. The battery life is good, I’ll use it with noise reduction on when on the bus on my way to work and use it for most of the day on normal mode when working and then noise reduction on the way home, so over a 9-10 hour period of almost constant use and the battery hasn’t run out on me, I do charge it every night so have never tested the full battery lifespan but for someone who needs them for work or commuting I can’t see them running out quickly (noise reduction will drain the battery life more though, so I only use that mode when on my bus journey) They’re easy to use, just involves tapping them to cycle through modes, play, pause and to activate Siri or google assistant. They need to be tapped hard so there’s never any accidental taps when adjusting them or something. They come with three different bud sizes which is good, and from using them for a few hours constantly they don’t cause me any discomfort, but I guess that’s all depending on your ear shape. My partner who has her tragus pierced says these irritate where her piercing is after a while. Overall these are a very good purchase, especially if you factor in how cheap these are compared to the big brands, and the noise quality and noise reduction are excellent for the price. From what I gather the manufacturer offers a one year warranty on purchases through their website and through Amazon which gives some piece of mind.

The best ear buds I’ve tried for the price
I don’t normally write reviews for the money these are a bargain. The what hi-fi award-winning ear fun earbuds went back immediately as the sound was too tinny, So don’t recommend them but this is the pro version and they are definitely the ones to go for. Firstly the sound quality is pretty decent for the money. I’d like to think of myself as a bit of an audiophile And I take my listening experiences seriously. So now you’re thinking okay so what is a so-called audiophile doing With a pair of really cheap earbuds? Well firstly I just wanted something that I could wear out and about with a decent sound, but didn’t cost me a fortune, and that I didn’t have to worry about the cost if I lost them. Secondly I’ve got a pair of decent headphones at home that I use most of the time. So back to the sound quality.I’d say it’s not as rich in sound as the Sony or Bose earbuds but the quality and depth of sound is reasonable and quite surprising. I did notice that I heard sounds and instruments on some of my favourite tracks that I’ve not heard before when listening to the same songs on cheaper headphones or even the original Apple wired earbuds. It’s not top end heavy, or woofy and generally pretty balanced and good quality. The noise cancelling is also pretty good. Let’s be realistic for a second, again it’s not going to going to be Sony or Bose Or even Apple noise cancelling for this money. Saying that with noise cancellation turned on it does take out the more white noise elements of every day objects e.g. the fan of the oven, the kettle boiling, the microwave going. You can still hear these things but the sound is clearly reduced and in that respect I found that I was able to enjoy my music at a comfortable volume but I was still able to hear some of what was going on around me. This is not the same as normal or ambient mode where Every sound is magnified externally. I haven’t tried these on public transport or a plane but my guess is that it would still take out some of that background hum, although not as efficiently as other headphones or even over ear headphones. But for my uses to just shut out some of the background noise and chatter they do the job well enough without the hefty pricetag. The fit is reasonable to and they feel sturdy when in my ears. They may not be aesthetic as the Apple AirPods but for the price I am prepared to overlook this. Connecting to my Apple devices was fairly straightforward and done through Bluetooth. So far they have maintained connection. All in all a total bargin for the money if you don’t want to worry about losing them but still want a decent pair of ear buds. Very impressed for the money.

Fantastic earbuds and unbelievable customer service
Firstly, the earbuds are great, they fit well and the only time I've had issues is in intense movement like shaking my head with the objective of testing how well they stay in. They're not gym earbuds but they stay in well enough for a run in my experience. The sound is clear and honestly it feels like these are a much more expensive set. I use Edifier speakers as my main speakers so maybe I'm biased towards the sound profile here as these are worked on my Edifier as well. The noise cancelling is definitely good enough, it won't block out everything but I think unless you're wearing over-ear headphones that's out of the question anyway. It's more than enough for a busy train ride or high street. The ambience mode that lets you hear through the earphones could be better, it functions but the sound is quite distorted and you get a lot of clothing and hair noise. It works enough to hear people but I wouldn't have a conversation without taking an earbud out. The controls are intuitive with the basic functions like play pause skip on one ear and mode switching and assistant on the other. It is missing volume control which could be a deal breaker for some people but personally once I've set a volume I tend to stick to it, or my phone isn't far away if I want to change it anyway. Customer service: Apart from being great earbuds, you should get these based on the customer service they offer. Unfortunately one of my earbuds stopped playing sound, of course that can happen and often does happen with such small and fragile things. Within a day of me originally emailing, customer service sent out a new pair for free after I explained the situation. I've luckily not had to deal with broken hardware many times but every time I have in the past it's been a nightmare that usually ends with the company saying they can't do anything. In this case, Earfun took the hit which obviously isn't a massive cost to them, it's just a pair of earbuds after all, but the gesture alone is refreshing in my opinion. So thank you again Freya from the Earfun customer service team if you somehow read this!

Highly Recommended - Forget Airpods..
I would class these headphones as High Quality sound, great for commuting and work, along with a mid range price. Worth spending the extra from the £40 tier to these.. Fair superior sound than my older pair of apple airpods. You get a lot of sound for the price. I have these paired to a Oneplus 8 pro, and connectivity is flawless. Once you match the ear size they sit comfortably in the ear and don't budge. I would add dog walking to the list also, and turning off the noise cancelling is just a case of tapping the left earbud three times. That way you can hear all those sounds while you're out and about walking the pooch. The controls take a little getting used to, but once you know the tap combinations this soon became natural. Noise cancelling, ambient sound, and normal mode all sound good. Google assistance pops up with two taps of the left bud, and works perfectly, well as much as it can do (google Ai that is). If you're looking for a cheaper replacement compared to the £100+ headphones products look no further than these. Glad I took the plunge on this brand. My over the head Sony's that cost over £250, it's been hard to tell the difference on some songs. They feel well made, and the only thing I would have liked on the case would be wireless charging, but by no means a deal breaker. After wearing them for a couple of hours, they still feel comfortable in the ear. Just make sure you spend the small amount of time on getting the ear size right, and experiment walking around and eating with them in, to get the right feel.

Good sound but unreliable features
I've had these about 2 years. They are ok and they've held up pretty well, but i wouldn't buy them again and wouldn't recommend them overall. Good -Nice sounds, really rich and good quality. -Decent battery life -Looks good (i think. I like the angle of the stem) -Good microphones for calls. -Seems durable Poor -Dreadful at pairing with multiple devices. Basically i have to re-pair every time i switch devices which is a pain. So if i turn off my computer and later want to use them with my phone, i have to pair them anew every time. Then going back to my computer is the same thing. -Auto sensor for pausing when you remove the buds is really unreliable. Sometimes it does work, but 7 or 8 times out of 10 what happens is it keeps playing, and then shuts off when you put it back in your ear, which is highly annoying. Now what i have to do is after removing the bud i have to put it closer to my ear to listen if it's paused or not, and if not i have to manually pause it. -Poor microphone quality when using a single bud. I prefer this mode as it means I'm aware of how loud i talk and what's going on around me, but people on calls report struggling to hear me in this mode. -nonstandard silcone tip sizes. The shape seems different from the standard ones you get with other earphones. This became a problem for me when one of the original tips was lost (came off when i took the bud out of my ear and fell down a drain). I thought i can just use tips i have leftover from old earphones but the Earfun buds have a lower profile. If you use other tips the profile is too high so they can't fit in the box and hence can't charge. So now every time i want to charge the buds i need to take off the tip. -Unreliable controls. The controls seems to function at random. Try tapping 3 times really hard, nothing happens. Try that 5 times at different intensities and you give up. Then two minutes later you accidentally brush the bud and some kind of command is issued (normally activate ambient mode it seems). Then you try to command it back into normal mode and it's not responsive... Overall they have a lot of potential but i wouldn't buy again and would not risk buying new models from Earfun in future.

Updated review...
- Edited September '23 - Following the review I left, below, the seller contacted me and very kindly offered a full refund on the ear buds. Because they responded and made the offer, it made me actually sit our 16 year old son down and determine what exactly had gone wrong with the buds. It turned out the earbuds weren't faulty at all and it was a build up of, probably, wax in them that affected the sound. That's sorted now after a good clean (the earbuds and the ears!). So, no refund necessary and earbuds working perfectly again. I'd like to thank the seller for making the effort to contact me after I left the original 3 star review. That's quite impressive given that there's thousands of reviews on here. I've upgraded the star rating to 5 stars (from 3) as the 'fault' wasn't anything to do with the earbuds but our son's ear wax! Great customer service to offer a refund without any prompting too. Given all of the above, I'd certainly recommend them, both for the sound quality of the buds and the level of customer service. ___________ Bought these in the middle of February '23 for our son's birthday. He wanted them for use whilst travelling to school and in the gym. Worked well and he was more than nappy with the sound quality. Fast-forward to the end of August and he says he's going to but a pair of headphones. Why? One of the earbuds had stopped working. Had a look but couldn't see an obvious way of fixing them. They're a bit difficult to break so I 'think' it was possibly using them in the gym (maybe sweat, moisture?) than ruined one of them. But, they're advertised as being suitable for the gym in the description so I would expect a certain degree of waterproofing, but I'm only guessing as to what went wrong. Personally, I've used Apple AirPods for about a year at the gym and they're fine. Ok, they're a lot more expensive too. As I said, our son was pleased with them, but that only lasted 6 months at most. Would I buy this brand again? For me, no, I'd pay more and get something hopefully more reliable. Just to clarify, I'm not an engineer, so I'm simply making a layman's guess as to why one of the buds stopped working.

Powerful bass and clear sound. Inconvenient indication.
This model is probably the first of EarFun list of crowdfunding company . The connection is very fast. The sound was amazing and clear. The bass is very powerful and it's amazing how such cheap headphones can have such an incredibly pleasant and clear bass! Control - 2 touches on the right - forward, etc. 2 touches on the left - switch the ambient mode to normal mode and ANC. Of course, to expect some kind of noise reduction from the earbuds is ridiculous. However, the noise is slightly reduced in the subway. The headphones have very limited visible indication The charge indicator is on the back and very tiny. This is very, very inconvenient. When you open the box, you need to turn it and look at the indicator on the back - if it flashes 2-3 times, then the charge is enough. If it is 1 time, then you need to recharge it. This is the only disadvantage of this model. Conclusion - inexpensive, easy-to-use earbuds with powerful bass and crystal clear sound. A very inconvenient indication is the LED at the back and you need to get used to it. Recommend it to those who can get used to an inconvenient indication.

Good Sound Quality but No Noise Cancellation
These are very comfortable and have a good sound quality so I'm happy to wear these for 3-5 hours at a time. No problems there. These were listed as having ANC and frankly that might as well be a lie. While there is a mode for it, it is barely distinguishable from the normal mode. There is also a "transpent" ambient sounds mode which uses the microphones to pipe through sounds from your surroundings. Unfortunately the microphones are so awful that it's just constant white noise and the only real sounds that make it through are all treble. It can be very painful if someone is running a tap or using a knife and fork but you still won't hear their actual voice... The controls on the earbuds are terrible. The touch is using an accelerometer which might be good for sporty people when rain or sweat might interfere with a capacitive touch area but it is a nuicance for normal use. Also, having to tap something faily hard which is making an airtight seal with your ear is surely dangerous for your eardrum. Play / pause / next track / answer calls / ANC modes / google assistent are what the taps are used for. Luckily the microphones are so bad that you'll never be answering calls or using the assistant. And the aforementioned ANC / Ambient sound modes are worse than useless so that's another function you won't need. The earbuds toggle play / pause when taken out of the ear but this means that taking one out will pause music (quite useful) but then taking the other out will start the music playing again? And then there's the pairing. Switching device is so annoying. The only reliable way to do it is by placing the earbuds back in the case and setting it to pairing mode and then searching on your next device. I really want to be able to switch much easier between my phone / table / laptop / PC. I understand that these are relatively inexpensive for true wireless earbuds, but honestly save your money. You can get Sennheiser CX for the same price and they at least don't pretend to have ANC.

The Amazing EarFun Air Pro
I am a professional music producer / audio engineer. I heard about these EarFun Air Pro earbuds and read the great reviews. I ordered a pair and had them now for a number of days. They are really awesome. Extremely comfortable - incredible design. And with other earbuds I kept having to push them in continually because they would lose bass response when they got a bit loose or had any gap. These are different - they stay solid in your ear! You don't even know they are there. The sound? I listen to music all day in my studio and have a great tube stereo system and high end turntable in my house. These earbuds, however, create a whole different listening experience. It is as if the instruments and vocals on the song are surrounding you. Like you are standing in the middle of it all. They put you right there. And I have heard subtle things on records - like Beatle songs - that I have previously listened to hundreds of times - that now all of a sudden I can distinguish more clarity and depth perception and hear subtle things I never picked up before. I am very impressed. I mostly have used them at home or taking a walk in the woods where the environment is typically very quiet. But in a couple of noisier circumstances I tapped in the noise cancellation - and was very happy with the result. It works and is very natural sounding. Also - listening to pod casts or audio books is great through them. I have edited the audio for a number of audio books for Random House - and know what they sound like in a recording / editing studio. Hearing them over the EarFun buds makes me happy to know that folks can hear them the way they should be heard. Another plus is using them for phone calls and ZOOM meetings. The sound and microphone are excellent. They connect instantly with my phone's bluetooth, and the case fits easily in your pocket and the charging system is really together. It's amazing they are sold at such a great price. You can buy a pair for yourself AND a pair for a friend - for far less than one pair of the Apple ones! You will love them - and your friend will love you!

Great value, very happy with them
After reading reviews I decided to purchase these for my commute and working in the office. The sound quality is great for the price. Great bass. Treble a bit tinny (as said in some reviews). The fit for my ears is good (I have small ears and struggle with ear buds falling out during exercise or while walking). Set up was very easy. Haven’t had to recharge them yet (after two weeks). Case is nice and small, with an easy fit so the earphones go in easily even in the dark. Love the ability to just use one ear alone. This works very well when listening to music, with no break in play. Noise-cancellation is quite good. I noticed they cut out a lot of the background noise on the train. With my phone they automatically start music playing when I just put them in my ears, which surprised me at first. No volume control on the earbuds (which I miss from my over-ear headphone). But the tapping function to pause and skip songs works well. Haven’t tested the call quality or Siri integration yet.

Great earbuds with hybrid active noise cancellation and long battery life.....
I was excited to try out the EarFun Air Pro after I had read about them on some audio websites. I liked the styling and they seemed very compact and looked like they would work well for me at the gym, on the go, and at the office. I decided to take a chance and ordered them. They arrived the next day thanks to Amazon’s Prime's fast shipping. Accessories - When I got the earbuds they came nicely packaged in a petite box. Included in the box is a USB C cable and 3 sizes of ear tips, small, medium, and large. The Air Pro themselves came fully charged in the very small charging case, the charging connectors on the earbuds had a small protective film that needed to be removed before using them. Features\Build Quality - The earbuds use an accelerometer to allow for touch controls, for example two taps on the right earbud starts\pauses music, 3 taps on the right bud advance a track, 3 taps on the left ear bud cycle through hybrid active noise cancelling, transparent mode, normal mode etc. I found it easy to get used to the controls and found they performed well. The earbuds have hybrid noise cancelling. The hybrid active noise cancelling worked quite well at the gym, quieting the roar of the fans or the pounding of someone’s feet on the treadmill. I found that it also worked well to quite the air conditioning and the constant drone of the servers at my work place. 10mm composite dynamic drivers are utilized and the EarFun Air Pro have an IPX5 sweat\water rating that comes in handy for those that use these at the gym or outside. They have a total 32 hour playtime, 9 hours on the earbuds and 23 hours with the charging case. I found that the earbuds sometimes exceeded their advertisement play time even. The Air Pro also have noise cancellation for calls and single earbud mode for when you only want to use one earbud. The Air Pro are very light and are made of a durable black plastic. They are very light and I did not feel any fatigue from having them in my ears for hours. I like the angled nozzle because it fit my ears well and with the included tips also provided good passive noise cancellation. I want to mention that these are very glasses friendly and for those who wear masks to protect themselves during this pandemic. I want to touch on how nice and compact the case is, it is to carry in your pocket and seems well made with a USB C charging port, with a charging indicator next to it. The case also has a charging indicator light within the case and is also used for pairing. the earbuds fit magnetically in the case and they felt very secure. Speaking of pairing, these were very easy to pair to both my LG G8 ThinQ and my wife’s Iphone 11. After being paired, the next time I took them out of my case, they were instantly paired and ready to play music. I also like the way they paused the music if I took one of the Air Pro out my ears. I also wanted to mention that I had no dropouts, I would leave my phone on the window sill at the gym and walked 40 ft or more and they stayed connected, I also had no problem when I took them on a hike with my dog, they never disconnected when used outside. Sound - The EarFun Air Pro have lots of bass, but it is controlled and not bloated. They seem to have a V shaped sound signature, with crisp mids, lively vocals, and they do not lack in treble. I really like how they sound. I listened to a variety of Flac and mp3s in a variety of genres from thrash metal, acoustic, jazz, and so on. The Air Pros performed admirably in all the genre’s I threw at them. I also liked how they had a wide soundstage, they did not sound congested, all of the instruments were easily heard in all the songs. I found myself looking forward to listening to music on my EarFun Air Pro, they were that good. Calls - I took several calls with these, both personal and for work. I called my 79 year old mother and she said I sounded great, and that was with a 15 mph wind when I was out on a walk. I used them on some zoom calls and nobody said I sounded robotic or anything. I also thought everything sounded great on my end. I used them both on my Imac and pc during Zoom and Microsoft Teams meetings\calls. I can see that the advertised noise cancellation was put to good use for taking calls. The only thing I would like to see in the next iteration of these would be the use of AptX, the ability to change volume on the earbuds, and maybe an app to give me the ability to change sound signatures, and an equalizer. Overall, I would highly recommend these. They are priced very reasonably and offer a lot for your money. They have great sound, hybrid active noise cancelling, and a great sound signature with sufficient bass for those those that want their songs to hit hard.
