I bought a 6 pack of these after reading how most chocolate powders are high in certain heavy metals. Consumer Reports did a test on Chocolates a few months back, and Ghirardelli's had the lowest level of cadmium and lead. One thing to note, this is a little "lighter" tasting than Hershey's, meaning I feel it's not as "dark". But it trades that in for being much smoother tasting and feeling in your mouth. When I make chocolate milk for instance, I now just add a little bit more when making my mix, and then it seems about as strong as Hershey's, but smoother. Just have to try it to see.

I put some of this cocoa in my coffee. Makes a great mocha coffee. No sugar in the cocoa either. I think it's worth the money. I will buy over and over.

I use only this wonderful Ghirardelli cocoa, I can't stand that cheap supermarket stuff. This has a wonderful, rich, complex flavor and aroma. Buying these through Amazon saves me money and time running around to different stores looking for this brand. I use a lot of it, and I save about $12 per case, by buying them here. These are fresher than the ones in my local stores. I throw the whole box of unopened packets in my big freezer and open them as I need them. Cocoa is VERY healthy, with many beneficial phytochemicals, and is a natural inflammatory (I make it with nonfat milk and stevia/sugar blend). Yum, I'm going to have a cup now!

Ghiradelli chocolate is my favorite! I use the unsweetened cocoa powder for my hot chocolate and sweeten it with sugar substitute and I can then stay on my diet. Really good chocolate flavor, not bitter like some and the sealable bag will keep the cocoa fresh. I recommend this product for hot chocolate as well as baking.
