You need a VERY smooth surface for these to work
Goes without saying really - I tried them for mounting a flexible solar panel to the roof of my camper, but the paint is a bit uneven (orange peel) so after less than 30 minutes they fell off. Shame because the design is really good. If you're putting them on a fibreglass/gel coated surface I'd think they'd be fine.

Shocking product and would not recommend. Solar panel blew off and now have to replace.
