I am a frequent camper and find this product super handy for many things. It has no phosphates, etc. so completely biodegradable and thus friendly in the backcountry (Leave No Trace wise).1) Wash hands after going to the "bathroom" (vs. just using Purell)2) Use it to wash pots after cooking3) When extremely dirty, can take a sponge bath4) If cooking over a fire, put a light coat on the outside of pot so it is easier to clean after cookingRemember that despite having no phosphates, etc., do not use this directly in water sources. Dispose of at least 200 feet from water to comply with Leave No Trace principles.

This soap can be used to wash everything from your body and hair to dishes, etc. It does not have a strong fragrance which is a plus. One unpleasant part of camping for me is wet slimy bar soap. This solves that. I have been using this product for about 3 years. The container also floats if you bathe in a creek.

I've used this product for years when I go camping, but have been unable to find it at stores anymore. It works great!

I have used this soap for over 20 years while I've been backpacking and I find there's no other better than Coleman's mounting soap. There's no smell so we don't have to worry about animals and the quality speaks for itself. Great camp soap for all uses… Great lather too!

I specifically use this soap for fishing, after I get done putting on my waders, unloading the boat, messing with the rope, etc. I wash my hands with this soap and it does make a difference, one day I wasn't catching much fish like my brother was and he asked "did you wash your hands"? I said "no, I forgot", as soon as I did and I put a fresh worm on I started catching fish, I don't think it was a coincidence, so please keep making this soap, I would appreciate it and so will the other fisherman that find out this secret.
