I was a little hesitant to buy this, as it had no reviews, but what can I expect when I bought it for a phone that I pre-ordered and wasn't available yet. Since it was so cheap, I went for it. Rest assured, this is a solid case. The quality is on par with a case that would cost 2-4x what this one cost. It is a simple black low profile case with a carbon fiber back panel. It feels good in the hand and doesn't look bad. It isn't advertised on the listing, but it came with a small metal disk with adhesive on it. My best guess is that it is for attaching to the back of the case so that the magnetic accessories are still compatible? I didn't attach it, but worth noting that it was included.

I NEVER write reviews for anything I buy but I think this one deserves it. Being that there are a seemingly infinite number of options for phone cases, coupled with the fact that I am very prone to digging through review after review to make sure the $10-15 I shell out for one is a worthwhile purchase, I find this process can be an arbitrarily difficult one (I understand it shouldn’t be this hard, but or something I interact with daily, it’s pretty important to me… and totally not related to my undiagnosed adult ADHD). Not fond of the overly bulky, gaudy, logo-emblazoned… yet I still want something that can handle an oops from my kids and their seemingly constant lack of hand-eye coordination. I exclusively carry in my pocket so anything that collects lint or leads to do difficulty getting in and out of my pants won’t cut it (I’m looking at you silicone cases). Often times I end up handling my phone with dirty or greasy hands when wrenching on a car or fumbling my way through a household task while rewinding the YouTube video guide a dozen times, so lighter colors and materials like leather or fabric are out. Clean, simple, slim, minimalist and logo-free, while providing a “reasonable” amount of protection is EXACTLY what this case gave me. The bezel that surrounds is made of TPU so it’s perfect for tossing in a pocket without fuss, and is raised just enough to safeguard the screen without being obtrusive. The slight rounded edge was also pleasant surprise as I overlooked it in the listing but it makes a HUGE difference when holding. Buttons are tactile and clicky requiring minimal effort to depress. The “carbon fiber” back isn’t real (which was fully understood prior to purchasing), but it has a fantastic texture. It’s slightly pliable and soft and provides a lot of extra grip without feeling too rough or out of place, all the while doing a great job with hiding fingerprints. Another bonus is that surrounding bezel is raised past the “carbon fiber” just slightly enough that when the phone is set down on its back, it rests in the bezel instead of the “carbon fiber”, which I’m sure will help with keeping it from getting scratched or worn with use. Camera bezel also has the same raised bezel so that is plenty protected as well. The charging port and speaker cutouts are precise and free from sharp edges so they are very comfortable when resting your pinky at the bottom as I find myself doing 99% of the time. Case fits very snug yet without needing much effort to remove for cleaning. Longevity is to be determined as I’ve only been using it for a few weeks but for $11, if it lasts 6 months, I’ll gladly purchase another… and another after that in 6 more months. Seriously one of, if not the BEST cases I’ve ever used.

Great case. Not carbon fiber at all. It’s more like a leather like material with a pattern but it looks great. And feels sturdy for protecting your iPhone 12. Great value.

Just the case I was looking for. My iPhone 12 feels too slippery. This case works perfectly and has good texture. Not sure if it will work for wireless charging. Seems like good quality and I recommend it.
