Perfect ghost stories for kids
This is the perfect book for Halloween for my 8yo. The stories are all very interesting without being nightmare inducing. There are history lessons wedged into each story. The ghosts are not malicious, and the third one, about the lovesick miner, even had us belly-laughing. I would highly recommend this. I read the stories on the first pass, but then my kiddo re-read them out loud to my husband. She wanted to make sure he was in on the joke! Highly recommended.

My 8-year-old loves reading booths from this company. They are easy and fun to read. She likes all the different genres available. Highly recommended.

I liked these stories, my Level 3/4 Reader was a little creeped out
My son enjoys reading level 3 and 4 Step Into Reading books, and I thought this would be a great hit for Halloween. *I* personally enjoyed the stories, but my second grader (who generally doesn't like scary things) surprisingly found the stories a little too intense. I also thought that the cover went a little overboard in creepiness for its target audience (1st to 3rd graders).

Good for 1st graders- not too scary
My first graders like scary stories but if they are too scary they ha e nightmares. The stories in this book are a perfect level of scary with the stories keeping their interest but not giving anyone nightmares. Definitely a favorite right now!

Great for 3rd grade
My 3rd grader loved this book. She told me about all of the scary stories in the book and said it was a very easy reader book.

Voy hacer la reseña lo mejor que sé.. Es de historias de miedo edad de 15en adelante Yo lo descambie por otro de nivel 3 porque es para mi hija de 8 años y son muchas palabras y nuevas todas y además la historia pues no era la mejor para ella.
