Great pellet! My 8 girls love this stuff! I’m starting on my first bags and they are so happy with it. The pellets are a perfect small size and they eat them well. I’m extremely happy to have them eating a whole nutrition pellet rather than picking out only the parts they like. They’ve been K girls their entire lives and I’ve been very happy with the results. A lot of eggs with great strong shells. The vibrant yolks are the talk of the neighborhood! My latest 3 pullets are really going strong as well. I did try another bag of a famous maker brand pellets, they ate them but if there was anything else available my girls would eat that instead. Worth it for me and them!Update 4/30/2021Into my second bag. The hens still love this small pellet. The egg production is off the chart. I have 8 hens (Welsummer , French Cuckoo Marans, Jubilee Orpingtons), all the girls are a year or younger. On this diet I am getting 6-7 eggs/day!

As a layer feed, I'm sure it works well. I did find it to have a nasty yeasty odor and that it aged terribly once opened. In addition, it felt much more moist than any other layer or starter feeds I have usedIn addition, it caused massive problems with my Dubia Roach colony (and yes, I am sure it wasn't designed for) in terms of both odor and lack of a growth (and let's face it, they are roaches, this is not a hard thing to grow).

This is the best feed I’ve ever used! My hens recover quickly from molt and have beautiful feathers and it has the same amount of calcium as my other previous layer feeds. Although I always give them free access to calcium flakes. Smells yummy too. What’s not to love?!

My chickens, cats, dog, and goat absolutely LOVE this food!!!!! It smells so delicious!!!

This is half the price of my local feed store and delivered right to my front door so no heavy lifting except to dump it into a storage container. So far the girls (my 8 hens) love this stuff! Very happy and will be buying this from Amazon from now on!

It's okay, it smells good, reminds me of the old feed mills. My girls like it okay but it's very fine and dusty, I'd like it better if it were a little coarser, I think my girls would like it better too.

Chickens love it. Had one laying shell less eggs and after a few days laid first egg with shell. Can't say it was the feed but this is the third brand I have tried and first they love and eat all up.

It arrived on time, came looking like the picture, worked like it was supposed to, fulfilled a need. Does not get any better. Nicely done. 5 stars!
