Ideal run cap, one size fits all, USA made
This is a true made in America part which implies quality rather than the lowest cost (China/India made). The ability to wire ONE run cap from 2.5 to 15 mFd allows you to replace virtually any run cap with this piece. They include the instructions and wiring jumpers to "set" the cap to match the one you are replacing. I own several houses...each has a unique AC/heat pump...each unit has a different run cap size...this cap allows me to store one (OK 3 for me) in my garage and be assured that I can get the fan motor running on any unit. BTW: symptoms home owners...the compressor is running (HOT) but the fan is not turning...if the fan will start with a little (be careful) push...you have a bad cap. If you have the skills and tools to troubleshoot AC you can replace this part. It is a very easy and ~10 minute job. Has saved me $150 repair visits and shuts up overheated FL tenants.
