5 Pack Dremel 480 1/8" Collet

This is the correct replacement for the Dremel tool. Very hard to find. Finally able to use my Dremel again. Very satisfied.

These are made by Bosch (a German company, everything they make is great) not Dremmel. But, they fit just as perfect as the more expensive ones from Dremmel, and are much much cheaper. I seemed to break them often, so I’m glad I found these! In fact, I have not broken one of these yet!

Replacement for original item. Just what was needed for job.

Just a little too long, but I shortened them by sticking a bit through it and the using my wire stripper for #10 AWG to score and eventually cut off about 1/8”. Clean up the end with a fine tooth file and fits perfectly.

My Milwaukee rotary tool collet took a dump, and I decided to try these out. I mean, it is Dremel, so why not, right? It fits pretty good, but you do have to give it a little persuasion. It's slightly larger in diameter, but other than that it works as intended. Great option for replacement!

If you lose a collet it's going to be the ⅛" since most of the tools fit that size. It's great that Dremel lets you buy only this size for spares. And the price is right! (Of course, I found my wandering ⅛" collet as soon as the new ones arrived, but I am really set to lose more!)

I bought these for a Milwaukee M12 rotary tool. They did not quite fit in the tip. I then tried them in my Dremel rotary tool and they went in a little ways. They seemed to hang up when I got to the bottom of the slots in the collet. I filed across the slots to remove any burrs and then they went in but they were a very tight fit in the Dremel. I did a little more filing but could not get the collet to go more than 1/4" into the Milwuakee.
