Details below:+Inks can show shading, some sheen and no feathering, no bleed through and almost zero ghosting except when using a sharpie.+Lays flat and that helps to write comfortably.+The paper is thick, I have no means to know for sure but based on other papers that I own, I think these are truly 120 gsm (grams per square meter) but I am not sure.+Paper texture is similar to Midori: has some fiber but is pleasant to write on.+You receive two notebooks; each one has 80 sheets (160 pages) and the paper color is ivory white (which means is not white but a little cream color but not too much). I have added pictures next to Tomoe River white and Rhodia so you can compare color.+At this price point, this purchase is great value for the money and keep in mind you are getting something similar to a Leuchtturm which costs $20 each so you need have realistic expectations.-hardcovers are not the sturdier but that is ok, I treat very well my books so this will not be a problem.-pen loop is small for fountain pens but I will never use that pen loop so is not important to me.+Squared grid has the right dark gray color: not too dark, not too light. I like the grid pattern because I am an engineer and this is helpful when I need draw a circuit diagram or something like that.
