works with most pex pipe (1807 astm), not with shark pex pipe. 400 psi tells me it is built well. I use another brand for shutoffs, but they do not make 3/4 size, but I have no complaints w these 1/4 turn valves. Easy to install. After crimping they still rotate for a better fit/alignment, (or if you have to tighten/loosen a connecting screw-on piece on the other end) Installed 5 on my project. No leaks, no problem. No soldering. Loses some sq. area as the ports are less than 3/4" but it did not factor in my work. I went from 3/4 copper to pex and then back to copper. (I set up a whole house filter system)

Lack of alignment when valve is open
Seem like sturdy construction, however when I look through the valve body when the valve is open, there are slight ridges where the ball portion of the valve does not align with the valve body. The ball doesnt open enough to be perfectly parallel with the body. I would have expected a smooth transition throughout when the valve is open. Probably wont make a huge difference in my application, but expected better for a full port valve. Unfortunately, there isnt alot of choice when it comes to 1" full port pex valves around.
