Light weight, reliable, accurate, Mil-spec watch.
I am very pleased with this Mil-spec watch. The one I received has the Swiss Ronda 715 movement which is the latest version which according to the Ronda web site has 5 jewels and has the longer battery life estimated at 5 yrs. This is a better movement than in most basic Luminox Navy Seal series watches which have a 515 Ronda movement with 1 jewel and a battery life estimated at 2 to 3 yrs. My watch in 5 days of use has stayed within 1 sec. I don't know if this series 715 will accept the Lithium battery but if it will Ronda states an estimated battery life of 10 yrs. I like this light weight carbon reinforced plastic watch case better than the heavy stainless steel cases used in the more expensive high end Luminox watches. I did change the NATO watch band to a quality rubber one. The tough Casio, Traser and Luminox plastic composition cased watches have changed my mind about wearing heavy steel watches and titanium is more expensive. Very important is the fact that I received with this watch a 2 yr. plus with registration an extra 1 yr. genuine manufacturer warranty. I have registered my watch and received confirmation. If you check the Luminox.com web site under history, you can see that this watch is essentially identical to the first Luminox Navy Seal watch and the first series F117 Stealth watch. At present time The Ronda 715 movement is used only in Luminox watches with a list price over $600. I own both the Luminox and the Traser watches. But, Casio is a hard act to follow and if it wasn't for the night illumination I wouldn't pay the extra money for other sport watches and then sometimes question my wisdom in doing that. It is today Feb. 24th with the watch within I second since 1st setting on Jan 8th.as a follow up.

Defective watch
The "crystal" cracked after only a week of non-traumatic wear.I called BlueDial, who provided the watch for Amazon. BlueDial refused to even discuss an exchange or refund.I then notified Amazon, and they backed up BlueDial. This was the last time I will purchase through Amazon.

Bought this May 2014 - LOVED it up until just recently
Bought this May 2014 - LOVED it up until just recently. It appears that there is an o-ring type of seal that the outer bezel rubs against when you adjust/turn this bezel to mark a starting time point. (FYI - referring to the outer "toothed" number dial you can turn counter-clockwise). I don't use/turn this bezel super often, but it now appears that the bezel is actually pulling/cutting into the o-ring. I can actually see small parts of this rubber o-ring sticking up between the bezel and the face glass. This concerns me as to the longevity and ability to remain waterproof. Other than that, it's pretty much been my go-to watch for the following reasons: 1) The fabric NATO type strap breathes well and is quite comfortable (more so than other rubber or metal bands. 2) This is so light, you hardly feel it on your wrist. 3) LOVE the watch face visibility at night. This is THE watch I leave at my bedside to know what time it is at night.

Rugged Watch. Good Value for under $100
For the money ($98 in July 2014 on Amazon), this nifty little watch is hard to beat. I bought it specifically for the tritium features, which glow nicely, but are not bright enough to be a distraction at a movie theater. Its polyester (really tough plastic) case is lightweight, but durable, and the mineral crystal is too. I found it to be a great timekeeper and especially useful during summer months when I'm camping or more frequently outdoors at night and need to see the time at a glance in the dark. The nylon strap is functional, but if I wanted to spend money on it and wore it more, I'd get a rubber strap. Contrary to the description, the bezel does not rotate in any direction, which is ok with me. Would I spend the $250 MSRP for it? Nope, but for $98, it's a no brainer.Note: Shortly after I bought this model for $98 on Amazon Prime, the good people at Discount Watch Store saw fit to increase the price to $135 and remove it from AmazonPrime. Guess I got a smokin' good deal.

Exceeds standards
Upon arrival I was impressed on how the watch was so light , love the tritium and the band that came with it. I'm a gshock dude and got tired of paying high price for watches with little to no illumination , when I first tried this watch in the dark i was blown away at the brightness and how easy it is to read . I work in the medical field fixing hospital equipment and have worn this watch everyday since it got to my door to work , I have dinged it and hit stuff with it and no signs of abuse or scratches , it's a very well built watch that has the handy military 24 hour markers and keeps good time , my wife thinks this watch looks sexy and she likes it so to all who want a good tough and very well built inexpensive Swiss watch look no further , amazing timepiece!

Perfect EDC/SHTF piece of kit.
So far, so good...came in ontime as well...Love the packaging, and additional information, warranty adn additional product info...It was running when i opened the box, adjusted the date/time and away we go. It is very lightweight, perfect for an EDC and/or fishing/camping watch...I tested the Tritium in a totally blacked out space, and it glows like a million stars, well, not that bright, but bright enough after eyes adjust to easily read the time...I am not worried about the second hand, just want the time...The strap is the NATO nylon strap, it's ok and will be replaced...I did slide a Cammenga Tritium Wrist Compass to the strap, and it works great, fits perfectly...I'll be field testing the watch/compass this weekend, and expect it to function no issues......overall, very happly with the watch, great product at a great price.....my only wish is that is could be an automatic.....

Very disappointed in this watch! The so called tritium illumination is a complete joke! Would not recommend the Traser H3 Type 6 watch!!!!
