DANA SPICER 5-760X UNIVERSAL JOINT This joint is used in Dana 44 front axles and some later model Dana 30 / 35 front axles. Newer style design is stronger for greater reliability. This is the most common U Joint used in these axles. Diameter is 1 3/16in. If you have the smaller U Joints which are 1 in. these joints will not work for you. After doing research online I found that these are the best Ujoints to get for my 98 XJ cherokee. They are much more durable than the cheaper stuff at local parts stores and are worth the additional money when you factor in future repairs on cheaper alternatives. I would buy these again if I ever need to.

These are direct replacements for a Dana 44 front axle on my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500. Fit good, not bad to install and last longer than other brands unless you are able to find one that is greaseable

Does not fit the 1988 YJ Wrangler Dana 30
Does not fit the 1988 yj. Too big. Or they sent the wrong one. You need the Spicer 5-260X and this one was a 5-760X
