🚀 Wake up to the cosmos—time has never looked this stellar!
The Big Red Rooster BRRC100 is a battery-operated projection alarm clock that displays the time and four NASA space images on your ceiling or wall. Its rotating top allows you to project images up to 30 inches in diameter anywhere in your room, with an optional timer for 10 or 30 minutes to conserve power.

Sorry to say this - the clock would not set ...
Sorry to say this - the clock would not set. Yes, I did install batteries and yes I did follow the directions. However, the 'clock' action would not come on or respond to the setting instructions.

My son loves this clock. The alarm could be louder but he loved the pictures. If u just use batteries they seem to last forever.. Glad for the timer so the pictures can go off and not waste battery power.

Cheaply made, low quality, and only powered by batteries.
When I saw this product, I was excited about what it offered (or claimed to offer). However, after receiving it I have to say it was disappointing in nearly every way I could think of. There are some saving qualities: It does look like it's pictured. It is a clock. It does project an image. Those are the reasons I don't give this one star.Firstly, this product is powered SOLELY by batteries. They aren't a backup. They are the only means of power. So unless you're using this as a travel alarm clock, it's a terrible choice. Who wants to be constantly changing batteries in their child's clock? And it takes 3 C batteries. Those aren't inexpensive. I can't imaging the cost of powering this with batteries over the course of a year.Next, the clock is about as cheaply made as can be. It's cheap, thin, light plastic, and only weight a few ounces. I'm not willing to completely dismantle it, but i'm guessing there is about a dollar's worth of electronics inside. And the projection components are likely just as cheap. I'd be skeptical of how long the light inside would last. The display itself is the very cheapest of LCD displays (think 1980's wrist watch). There are higher quality projection clocks at WalMart (who are NOT known for quality) for less than half the cost of this clock. So, unless you want a cheaply-made, low quality, over-priced travel clock for your kids, I suggest you pass on this product. I don't like giving negative reviews, but when I see a product that clearly cut as many corners as they could while charging a premium price, I can't help but call them out on it.I received a discount on this clock for my unbiased product evaluation.
