13 FISHING - Concept A2 - Baitcast Reels

Man I love this fishing reel, I now owe three 13 fishing reels.And I’m catching myself using them over my shimano curdo DC.. I fish four days a week along the Texas gulf coast. Salt water of course. Getting to the back water, at times can be one heck of an adventure.Things get muddy and wet, and when you have a big redfish at the surface next your kayak your gonna get splashed, and so does your reel.And let me tell you how easy it is to clean this reel.Along with the rest of 13 fishing.A quick flip of a button and the side opens up. Remove the spool rinse out the reel let it dry. Add a few drop of reel oil.Maybe a little grease on the worm gear and close it back up your good go.And this reel can cast from Houston tx to New Orleans LA smooth and quite..it has a nice profile that fits in your head like it was meant to be.It’s light weight easy to use with a few adjustments for the beginners to bait casters..it’s well made tough but slick, well worth the money. I suggest everybody that fishing to own at least 3If i could rent mine out for test runs, I wouldBut I can’t see myself fishing with out.

The quality is second to none I’m fishing 33 years and iv never had a baitcaster so smooth it’s really is like silk on rapala website these are selling for 275 euros on Amazon.com I got it for 156 euro so Amazon the place to buy this if your fishing with cheap junkie reels and want a step up these reels at that price the brakes work great with no over runs it’s so smooth you can’t feel the lure reeling in even big lures and I fish with big lures for the pikes but I did throw light lure in the 20grams range and I was getting the same amount of distance that I wud with a 50gram lure I’m one regret is I didn’t get two iv had abu reels before and this would smash any high end Abu reel remember in Europe these sell in store for well over the 250euro mark now for 150euro ur getting a bargain you will not regret buying super super reel thanks Amazon for the great deal

I have been using 13 reels for the last 5 years and they continue to impress me. My got to reels for the last year have been the 13 C2s and the Texas Editions and now I've added this one to my arsenal.I take very good care of my reels by not dunking them in Saltwater and lightly spray them off after every trip which is about 3 times a week. I also have Lews, Shimano reels which get no use.I have the 13 C2s on the 13 Omen Rods and the other 13 reels on Hookspit Custom Rods.30lb Sufix 832 Braid is my choice for using top waters and 14lb Berkley Sensation on the rest.

Love the reel, fits the hand perfectly and it gets a ton of distance on casts. My only complaint which is kind of a deal breaker is the rear of the real comes to a point and digs in your hand especially if you're jerkbait fishing, it's very uncomfortable. Not sure what the engineering reason was behind that or if they field tested it before the release. Fix that on the next gen and you got a home run

this reel is horrible, go buy the piscifun alloy mthe alloy m blows this thing out of the water.i waited to long to return but if i could i would return in a heartbeat

Just received mine yesterday. Right out of the box it looks like a gorgeous reel. Love the matte black finish. It has a smaller profile too - it's not a big baitcaster. The only thing I've done so far is put line on it but based off of that and tinkering around with it it seems to be an extremely smooth reel. I can't wait to get out and put it to the test.

This is a strong contender for the best baitcaster I own. The only competition being my shimano curado k.Casting is phenomenal, reel is super smooth.Very comfortable, solid brake, tension, and drag controls.I’ve fished the heck out of it and never had a single issue. Would strongly recommend.
