Each unit plugs in both outlets at once which means it sits tight. Although I generally don't use all the outlets at once, I have the microwave, coffee maker always in one unit, plus I use my hand mixer, electric knife, etc when I need them. The bread machine works great in another unit elsewhere. I have multiple on multiple charging ports for our electronics plugged in several and it supports them all. I bought 2 boxes of 2 each and I'll probably buy more. Installation is a no brainer, so easy. Great value!
