Will it provide protection from the cold!

It's designed to provide protection from the heat of an engine bay only. As per the manufacturer, it will not provide protection from the cold.....I called and asked. If you want protection from the cold, you must buy a battery warmer.

Does it require electricity?

No, it just wraps around the battery, saves it from the heat and cold. I use it on my RV batteries cause they set out on the tongue of the trailer year round..

Will installing this void any warranties? my oe blanket got eaten up by a critter. 2015 fiat 500l urbana trekking..

Will this work with a group size 94 battery?
