High Quality Product
The product arrived in a timely manner and was securely packaged. The product is easy to use, and provides the aged look I was wanting for my craft product. A little goes a long way, so I believe the purchase was a great value.

Made a cheap frame look like rich, aged wood - - - quick and easy
I've never, ever used this product or done anything like this before and I am thrilled with the results!I don't have the budget to spend $500+ on a large, framed mirror but really wanted one for above our credenza.I found the perfectly sized one at Target. Online, it looked like it had a wood frame. I picked it up and it looked more like plastic. Maybe it was real wood, but if it was, it looked very low quality. It was on sale, the size and shape were perfect so I really wanted to find a way to make this work.I ordered this dark paste and used it with the Jolie clear finishing wax.I had no idea what I was doing, but after watching several youtube videos, I gave it a shot. Not only was this super easy, but the results are amazing.I brushed the clear wax on first, followed with this dark wax.Oh my. Instant upgrade and improvement. It took me a few experimental strokes to find that stippling followed by light brush strokes worked the best to give that "old wood" shaded effect. It honestly took me a total of 15 minutes to go from a cheap frame to rich aged wood. The only negative I can mention, is that 24 hours later, it still feels quite waxy. This is a frame and it's hanging on the wall, so it won't be touched or handled very much. Had I used this on a chair or bench, I'd be concerned about this, but in my case, I am over the moon happy.

Worked on cabinets and covered rings on kitchen Island
Easy to apply with a sponge. Perfect match for my espresso brown antiqued cabinets that were dull. Been an adventure updating these cabinets but they look better than before now! And it also covered ring spots on my kitchen Island. Great value and a wax I will use for years to come! A little goes a long ways!

Just use black shoe polish.
It's just black shoe polish. Might be a little softer but all in all just repackaged shoe polish.
