You have to be very careful when handling this product. The slightest tug and it tears. If you store it incorrectly, it will tear. But it did help with noise reduction after placing the laminate over it.

I thought this was the right thickness to match some existing transition/flooring near it, but I wish I went with quarter inch. It's too thin, which is my own fault for picking it, the thinness causes problems of its own. It rips so easily. I cleaned the subfloor meticulously, install vinyl plank over it, but somehow during the install process parts of it came up and then squeezed into the joints. The floor started out okay, but a few weeks later I noticed 2 gaps in 300 sqft of flooring, the gaps are impossible to knock back down and chunks of the cork worked their way in. Maybe it's my fault for having the seems of the underlayment fall within more than 3 inches of the boards, but even with the 9" wide board that seems hard to control.

we used this this underlayment made of 100% cork to be eco friendly and because cork is highly efficient. We would have used something thicker but couldn't because it would have raised our floor too much.Easy to install, I recommend that you use some weights to keep it unrolled. Use a box cutter to cut. I did a 20x10 room by myself with one roll. I used remnants to fill in some cracks I had in my window seals, a win/win.Best to not perforate but duct tape at the seams instead, you may use a 1/2 or 3/4 inch wide tape. Don't use glue, its unnecessary.

This was great for floating my new Engineered Hardwood over a vapor barrier and gypcrete floor. Provided some good acoustical value, sustainable, and easy to lie flat, which I was concerned about since it's rolled up. The ends would flap up somewhat, but after putting duct tape on the seams, and lying the floor, all is well.I had quite a bit of leftover which I am now starting to cut up for shelf liner. Will be using either double sided tape or sticky tack to help hold it down. So far it's working well in a couple drawers as an anti slip when the drawer goes in and out and it just looks nice!

I had 780 sq. ft. to cover and bought 4 rolls that should cover 800 sq.ft. But I finished 40 sq. ft. shorter.And I did not throw out even 1 sq. in.

The flooring is quiet & soft. I can feel the difference!

Worked well as an underlayment for my cork flooring. Be gentle with it. It tears easily because it is thin. I taped a few sections back together where I scraped my foot across the area. It did provide the cushion I was looking for.

Aside from the slight smell, which fades after about a week, this cork was delivered quickly and came undamaged.

I used this product for walls and flooring in a cabin on a sailboat. It’s very porous and light can be seen through it, so I rolled epoxy on the harden it up . It’s a good material, but one should note that it can’t bend much without breaking.

Userd this cork as underlayment, and am happy with it. Cut is even, and the cork was not dry/old. Only needed 25ft. but this 50ft roll was at such a good price that I couldn't pass it up.

I like it as a product but would love a 1 or 2mm more thickness. 4 star for product.giving 3 star as not sure it was packaging or shipping I received material ripped from a small area. I ordered 2 at different times and both had similar damages(see pic). This need much better packaging.
