As someone who is hard of hearing, trying to understand someone in a restaurant setting can be very difficult. The Smartmike+ has been a blessing in noisy environments. When my husband clips it to his shirt and speaks, I works well to filter out the surrounding noise, and provide me with captioning thru my phone app. I appreciate the technology allowing me to still have a great conversation and enjoy our time together. It seems to be compatible with various apps, is easy to use, and worth every penny!

With this Smartmike+ microphone, you can only record using the Smartmike app, not the iPhone's camera app. You have none of the usual camera controls, like which lens to use (I have an iPhone 14 Pro). When I switch the Smartmike app to record in 4K, it looked terrible - lime green digital noise. Everything you record, you then have to download to the phone's Photo app for storage, rather than it going there automatically. I plugged in the optional unidirectional mic, and the recording defaulted to the iPhone's microphone, so the Smartmike wasn't working at all. Probably I could have done some troubleshooting on that problem, but since I'd already decided to return it, it wasn't worth my time.

This will not work with the iPad camera. It connects as an "other device", doesn't record and the iPad tries to play audio through that BT connection. It only works in SmartMike app.

I received this as a gift and I have recommended and purchased as gifts for my film associates. I plan to buy another for dual interviews. I also used for a short film.

So disappointed in this product (and SabineTek “support”). Couldn’t even download their app (iOS version). After scanning the code, it says that the app is not available in my area (I live in a large metropolitan area). After reaching out to their support team - twice and only receiving an automated message, I’m done. I really was excited to use this mic but it will be returned today. I don’t see anyone else with this issue either.

I use this mic with my Photo Booth. It syncs perfectly and works like a charm. I highly suggest purchasing if you are in need of a great Bluetooth mic for vlogging, Photo Booth video or any other use you can think of.

Outdated. No software for it in 2025. The old software crashes on modern android.

The sound quality is superb but only using their app. I cannot overstate how good this sounds for a wireless bluetooth microphone. The only issue is the terrible app. It often said the microphone could not be found even when it's connected. The app is so bad that it's been pulled from the Google Play store. Hopefully SabineTek fixes their app to match this great hardware.

本体のマイクはは問題ありませんでしたが 付属の単一指向性マイクが壊れていて使えませんでした マイクだけ交換ができないみたいで 全部返品して、返金、再度購入のようで 再度購入しても、また同じ事になったらいつまで経っても使えないので、信頼ならない商品と 不具合時の対応が不親切です！！

確認するのが遅すぎたのは私のミスですが、マイクが壊れて届いたことについてビックリしました！残念ながら、使えません。
