This beret is very thin ( about 40 % of the one of the one I was issued in the army) and arrived wadded up in a plastic bag and very wrinkled. The stiffener is only 2 inches wide which will not allow the beret to have the military break. Inspection ready, not at all . If you want a beret for your child to play with this is it . other that, that save your money May be ok for someone that has never had experience with a military issued beret.

Great beret for the price.
Fantastic product for the price. Really like the internal front support that helps the beret's keep it's shape. Only negative? The description didn't state what the sweatband was made of. I was hoping for leather. But for the price? The nylon mesh band works just fine.

I like that it fit well. I was worried wool would be too warm but it seems to be the right balance. People complement it all the time.
