Dont buy a nutribullet (I had one and the plastic drive broke) get one of these, at 2200w it will blend, mix, smooth anything, ice no problem. The label on the back says commercial for the money this is excellent, it might not be the prettiest thing in the kitchen but it does what its supposed to do its very very powerful and the drive is all metal so no fear of it breaking.Plastic jug (lighter than glass) is 2L so can make smoothies in one go to last 3 days. This item is outstanding.

The price was fairly low, and it looked huge, but the specs looked goodI've used it for blending 1.5L of hot soup (you don't want to overfill it) the freezer is now full of soupI've ground cashews for sauce (soak them for a couple of hours) and blended whole spicesOther reviews mention the metal to metal connection between jug and base - no worse than metal to plastic or plastic to plastic. You can always fix metal ;)The instruction sheet is not very good - online is no better

It blends very well and quickly, smooth as I would like it. I'm not given 5 stars, because time will tell on whether it last and because there are some questions for seller - seller's response will determine. But for now, I recommend this blender.

I have to blend food for a family member who has swallowing issues and this is totally marvelous at creating smooth pate textured meals without any lumps. Love the look too!! Would have perferred a glass jug and I am used to tops that twist lock into place as this one is just a push fit but its not a deal breaker and the machine itself is so powerful for what I need even with thicker fluids being smoothie quality. Top marks.

Absolutely useless. Bought it because my Nutribullet which I have had for 5 years started leaking and I wanted something with a bigger capacity jar. It arrived swiftly alright. All I wanted it for was just for smoothies. Nothing demanding. I don't even use frozen vegetables or fruits. Simple fresh veggies and fruits which should be easy for any blender worth its salt.My very first use was blending celery, kale and oranges. Loaded the first small portion of the celery and the kale, turned it on and the blender danced all around my kitchen worktop as it vibrated and jumped all around. I had a hard task keeping it in one place despite pushing it down to use the stabilizers on the base. But I probably could have put up with that had it blended somoothly. It struggled to blend both vegetables. That was not even the kicker. It blew in the middle of this simple task of blending veg and fruits which it is designed for. Stopped working and smoke billowed out the motor. That was it. As it happens, I had ripped the box it came in. Now I have to buy a fitting box to return it for a refund. Can't lose all of that money for a dud appliance

I just hope it last for long time. The speed is great!! Strong machine and has been working fine since we baught it in December . Comparing price and quality, it worth it, as I did not find such a strong machine for this price anywhere else.

I recommend it. I bought it a long time ago and I am very happy with it. I use it daily for smoothies. In addition to various vegetables or fruits, I really like to put in hazelnuts, hazelnuts, Brazil nuts, almonds and various seeds, and this machine does its job remarkably well.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this blender 2 years ago, I loved its large capacity, powerful blending as I make homemade soup. However after only a couple of months the jug leaked, and although I have tried with the manufacturer I can’t get a replacement jug. The whole bottom of the jug came out, so I have a bulky blender that is useless. If I could get a replacement jug this would be a five star. I did take out a replacement insurance but it got “lost”. Very disappointed.
