I volunteered to make some buttons for our Parent Teacher Club so I scoured the web for a reasonably priced button maker that would also function well enough. This is one of the lower priced units, plus it came with supplies to make 100 buttons. After reading the 1-star reviews, I was fully prepared to have troubles operating it, but the first one I attempted came out perfectly. Everything set, and the end result was great. I went on to make 10 total, and out of that, 2 failed. I’m certain it was user-error, but I’m not 100% sure what I did wrong. I did notice the metal backing sometimes stick together, and dropping them on the table allowed them to separate. It very well could be that the first one I made had two metal backings but I didn’t know it. It could also be that I simply didn’t press hard enough. Either way, a loss of 2 out of 10 was acceptable to me, given this is the first time I’ve ever used a button making machine. I would say it takes some practice to get the right feel. I’m currently trying to figure out how to align the pin correctly as it seems no matter how hard I try, it ends up crooked. Good thing I have supplies for 90 more buttons to perfect my process.

I absolutely LOVE this button maker! I used it to create custom “Science Fair Participant” buttons, and it made the whole process so smooth and fun. As you can see, I was able to make a whole batch quickly—and they turned out super professional-looking! I love this thing! I am a crafty gal! My son needed buttons to pass out as fair king, so we decided to try this thing. Everyone loved the first batch we made. He has a big event coming up this weekend and I easily made 60 buttons while watching television. It is so easy and fun to use. The buttons seem to be a good quality. I did mess up a couple, but they are not terrible and could still be worn. We are looking forward to making a variety of buttons for different functions.

This button maker was easy to assemble. However, it did not come with any directions to design buttons, so it took me several tries getting the right size made on my software and pressing the buttons for them to look right. After several attempts and failed buttons made finally mastered the art of button making through trial and error. Wish there would have been directions on design. A 3 inch button maker does not necessarily mean you design your inserts with a 3 inch template. Quality has been good, but with it being plastic, i feel like it could break easily if you press too hard. Because it’s made of plastic it made this button maker, more lightweight, and easy to pick up and move.

Do not buy this button maker!!! It constantly sticks and because of that it is not easy to work with. It definitely is not worth the $$$!! Purchased this for my daughter's 12th birthday. I looked over reviews throughout Amazon for a similar product and had concern this wouldn't be sturdy or might be difficult to use. I'm thrilled I chose this one!!! It's sturdy, a bit heavy in fact. My daughter figured it out quickly. She recently used it to make pins for her theater group. It comes with everything you need.

I’ve seen a lot of reviews on this product that says it’s very bad and that it doesn’t make nice folds, but that’s just simply not true. If you’re thinking about wanting to open a small business making pins or just want a pin maker, you should definitely buy this. This machine is very nice. I’ve had it for maybe a little bit over a month now and it works perfectly fine. I was going to make a review video and I made one, but I must just have bad Internet connection or something because it wouldn’t let me put it on there so I just took some photos. I give this machine a 10 out of 10. It’s a very nice machine. I use it almost every day and it comes with all of the things that you need for it.👏👍✨💩

Worked well for a few months. It cracked on one of the molds after a few times using it. I still use it from time to time, at least until I use up all of my inventory. I won’t be purchasing it again though. It’s too unpredictable because a lot of times the buttons do not come out consistently in tact. I put so much pressure on the machine to get a good press and it’s not always guaranteed that the button will come out right. I recently invested in a better brand. The price for this machine was reasonable just wish the quality was better and more durable. Overall it made and continues to make me a few coins 😎 My tip would be to find a better way for the buttons to adhere to the hardware because MANY people have trouble with the buttons falling apart.

This solved a problem for me. I was looking for giveaways at my musical performances - keychains, lapel pins, etc. But then I'd be locked into one design if I wanted to buy in bulk to save money. My sister suggested this, what a great idea. Easy to use, and they include EVERYTHING you need in the kit: the machine, the metal buttons, the plastic safety pin backs, the clear plastic covers. AND they even included a cool little circle cutter with an extra blade - so all you have to do is print out your images in the right size and away you go! Thanks for solving my problem, saving me money, and unlocking my creativity. I'd give this 6 STARS if I could!
