I love the touch screen which is responsive and offers you so many options from 4oz to 12oz and with brew strength and favorites. It has a sliding mug holder which with heavier mugs makes me a tad nervous but so far no calamities! The water tank is generously sized and putting the charcoal filter in wasn’t hard, but definitely get your filters because if you drink coffee like I do, you’ll go through those filters quicker than you realize. I do note it doesn’t blast your coffee into your mug, but rather takes a leisurely drip that takes a little longer to finish but the end product is great quality. The bone color I have does show coffee stains, but it isn’t hard to clean. Oh yes, the light that shines up from the bottom of the water tank is a nice touch and it reminds you the tank is seated properly.

Five stars for what it is and of its industry's nature -- a SINGLE-SERVE coffee maker. I almost can't believe that it is 180 dollars to purchase one usually, I got it for 100 off during the Amazon Spring Sale. You almost can't fathom it, but on the other hand you have its fully capable and functional features - AS ADVERTISED - such as the coffee temperature control feature. I have yet to try a 'piping hot' cup, as the normal 'hot' (not the 'cold') feature is just impressively sufficient in my opinion. -It looks better than the picture vs real life size comparisons let on, all I can think is 'wow, this is a considerably good looking coffee maker which is minimal' (my favorite style.) -It brews in virtually silent levels, when held next to the 'Keurig' single cup brew station-sized coffee maker I was previously using. This sound level is unbeatable, or lack thereof. -It is more overwhelming to the user expecting a normal and minimal coffee brewing experience, that is until you utilize the brew-by-memory features, or the 'fav' functions. The coffee maker has 4 savable feature sets and combinations which program as instantly as you are able to set the options. -And lastly off of the checklist, is the 'messiness' and how that factors into the authentic review. I almost WISH to take away a star, because of the unexpected splash zone that I didn't know was possible brewing into a cup, but also because of the water buildup after each brew, which appears to land in a catcher of sorts by product design. I brew with a rag handy near my burr grinder and this coffee maker and all of my beans. All in all, I just almost wish to remove a star for the unexpected messiness factor. But with my simple accommodation of a handy wiping towel it is hard to complain at all. Would buy again, surely.

I bought this coffee maker as a Mother’s Day gift for my wife, and it has been a total disaster. Right out of the box, the machine had major issues—water would not circulate from the reservoir up to the K-cup chamber at all, causing massive heat to build up in the K cup chamber leading to a coffee explosion. To make matters worse, the required charcoal water filters were completely missing from the packaging. There is nothing more frustrating than reading the assembly instructions for a brand-new item only to realize a necessary component was left out. Because of this, I had to spend an additional $22 to order the filters separately. Once the filters arrived, I installed one hoping it would finally fix the circulation issue. Long story short it did not. Check out the attached picture and video to see what happened.

This small machine has great features and looks great. The Warm, hot and piping hot features for the water are awesome. I love my coffee really hot because I can’t sit still so the piping hot is great because inside the thermos like mugs it stays hot for a very long time. I love coffee and have had many coffee makers but this one made the best cup of coffee I can remember . You can use K cups or it has a capsule for ground coffee which holds more than the regular removable capsules. 4,6,8,10 or 12 oz of coffee settings and you can use just about any size mug or cup because it has an adjustable base where you put your cup. This was a great purchase and I mainly bought it because my previous coffee maker didn’t make the coffee hot enough and I was having to microwave it afterwards. I hope they never stop making this coffee maker.

I like the appearance of the stone color (more cleaning needed of course), size, numerous options, and so far it makes great coffee as long as you adjust your cup size to the grounds. I like my coffee very strong! I marked off 1 star for the water overflow often in the rim around the coffee holders. Also, the hinge on the coffee filter is a little lightweight so be gentle. I am in process of requesting replacement. I hope it will last, but I bought a warranty. GREAT NEWS! After much searching I found the Vivi Sky on Amazon makes plastic and metal reusable k-cups that work in this machine. (NOTE: The all metal ones will not work as they have no bottom puncture hole!) Just be sure to align the bottom needle on the machine's k-cup holder to the reusable k-cup. Close top tightly. I also use their paper filters since I grind my coffee very fine and I only have to clean the inside top of the k-cup. Since I have 5 cups in the Vivi set, I put aside 2 labeling them for loose tea only avoiding any cross flavoring. They fit in my kcup storage holder. I hope this helps you and enjoy!

So far Chefman Caffeinator is the best brewer I've ever had. I like the adjustment on piping hot, water little tank, you can save your settings, most important coffee comes out tasty. So convenient, I am glad I found it and is superior to any brands I've ever used.

Makes a great cup of coffee BUT... The filter design is absolute garbage. Filter will not lock in place.

My first maker was defective, which would make you wonder why the 5 stars. But customer service was amazing. They asked how I wanted to communicate, and then we text in real time over WhatsApp, which was a first for me regarding a customer service and it was great. They immediately sent me a new one. I used it for the first time this morning and now I'm left wondering how science works! The water was heated SO FAST it was nearly instant, I don't understand how that was possible but don't care because now I have my coffee and I'm happy. The machine was easy to use, lots of choices how I wanted it, and it worked quietly. Can't ask for anything more, great value for the money.

I owned this coffee maker for 18 months, then spontaneously it ceased to create coffee: no heat, no sound, blue light flashes forever with no activity. Yes, I unplugged it, waited 60 seconds, then plugged it back in. Yes, I descaled it regularly: whenever the "clean" light flashed, I used a commercial descaling product (by DeLonghi) and followed the instructions in the manual. Yes, it's filled with water when this happens. Yes, there's coffee in the filter when this happens. Yes, I contacted their customer support and this model is not even listed on their web site. All they allow is a web form that collects far too much info (probably for illegal data sales). Do not buy this coffee maker. Buy one from a respected brand.

Unfortunately after a 2 months, the coffee is not hot enough. Will call Chefman and see if they will do something.
