Double Wall Gel Frosty Freezer Mugs 16oz, Set of Four, Assorted Colors (Red, Yellow, Blue, Green)

Solid construction and heft, makes and keeps my beer frosty inside. Works well for other beverages as well. I've had lots of other freezer beer mugs in the past that ultimately crack and fail by repeated thermal cycling. These colorful mugs from Ziggy V work well, and feel like they are going to last much longer. Hand wash only to decrease the hot end of the thermal cycle and plastic stressing. Cheers!April 14, 2017 update:Just want to add that I use these mugs almost daily, and that they still perform perfectly. I have had many positive comments from friends and guests who have used them regarding the function, quality and solid feel. I do not know why others have not enjoyed the consistent performance I have. Do not dishwasher them, as a friend did and they failed by cracking and coming apart. I love the icy beer caldera that forms when the second beer is poured in! Great product.December 15, 2020I am writing this to let other consumers know that this product WILL FAIL over time. Each and every mug will fail as other reviewers have indicated. If the handle falls off just reattach it with Super Glue. If the bottom blows out in the freezer just reattach it with Super Glue. If a split occurs in the outer jacket and the coolant leaks out just seal it with Super Glue. I draw the true failure line at when the inner jacket wall splits. Super Glue is a cyanide based compound, and I'll be damned if I will ingest that stuff even though the product technically can be repaired over and over. Every single one of my four mugs failed in these patterns, until there were none left to use. I saved all of them, and sent the marketer a picture of all four of them in a group demonstrating the repaired failures. I asked for replacements over 90 days ago, because in my mind a 100% guarantee as advertised does not include predictable product failure. Their response? I have heard nothing but the echoing sound of crickets at night. Therefore I now marked this product as a guaranteed failure despite following every single directive as to handling and care. I label the marketer as a non-responsive and deceptive business entity. In closing, I can state and prove all of these claims and assertations because I chose to purchase this product, NOT rent it. If you are OK with purchasing a short term product that initially works well but ultimately fails then you must have expectations different than mine. This marketer certainly does differ as well. If you understand a little Latin, you may enjoy this phrase because it sums this condition up rather nicely: "Res ipsa loquitur". The literal English translation is "the thing speaks for itself". I sincerely hope this helps your purchasing decision. If I knew now what I did not know then I would NOT make this purchase. Principle, honor and truth are more important to me than those who have none of those qualities, as this marketer clearly does not.

I've had these mugs for 6 years and now in 2024 only 1 has started to crack!When I first got them in 2018 the handles broke off within a month or so but they were still useful.I used to drink my beer from them, kept it nice and cold. Now I drink cranberry juice with Pelligrino and they are still keeping my drink cold!If any more start to crack I will buy again.

Only been using 2 of 4 for 3 months.Love these things! EXCELLENT chill power. Cold sodas turn slushy in maybe 15 minutes, then we break out the spoon 🥄, scrape the walls and enjoy more than just cold drink.Easy to clean oven wide nature. Very stable.Have been hand washing with cold water, drying and placing in freezer upside down. No cracks yet

I've had this mug for about a year now, used it last summer and kicking off this summer strong with the mug too. I think it does the job well, which is to put cold liquid in it and keep it cold. Often times, I will pour a can of soda in here and leave the room for a min and return to it being semi slushy, which is a great treat for a hot summer afternoon.The main issue I'm finding is that when the ice melts or when the mug sweats, the excess liquid drips to the bottom of the mug and as you lift it or tilt it to take a drink it will spill all over the place. Mind you, this is NOT the liquid inside the mug... this is just merely melted ice, so it's clear water. Whatever you put inside the mug does not leak, it's just the melted ice. Given that the base of the mug is so wide, I do not have a coaster for it and I opt to just put a folded piece of paper towel under it when I am drinking from it. I don't mind it as much since whenever I am drinking from this, I also indulge in a snack so it's good to have a moist paper towel to wipe my hands/fingers with.

I picked up the cup and the top of the handle snapped. I’ve only used 2 of these and they are hand washed and placed into the freezer upright.

I have been using Gel Freezer Mug since 2013 and love Gel mugs. The Gel Freezer Mug, that Ziggy V provided, resolved many of the problems I have had with other suppliers of Gel Mugs: (1) there were no manufacture’s stickers on the mugs that took hours to removed; (2) the gel in all the mugs were completely full to the top of the mug; and (3) the shipping packaging was top notch too. My initial assessment is that “Ziggy V” has their act together. I can only hope that these Gel Freezer Mugs last longer then the previously mugs I ordered from other suppliers – there is hope! I give “Ziggy V” five stars.

I purchased a set or 4 last March (2019). Lasted until August. All cracked and the gel material inside breaks down and falls to the bottom so only the bottom freezes. The cracking releases an odor making any drink undrinkable. Bought another set of 4 to replace the ones that I threw away and the exact same thing happens again after two or three months. First time I rated a 5 star, but its at best should be a one star. its good for a little while when it still works but becomes unusable I have added pictures of these issues, but highly suggest to avoid these mugs. NOTE: I ALWAYS hand washed and NEVER in very hot water, and they have not been dropped, they crack on their own and the odor seems to come from the Gel. I took the pictures before my wife threw them all away. waste of money. You can see the cracks in the photos attached.

We keep them in the freezer all the time. They work great for keeping drinks cold without watering down with ice. If you pour an already very cold drink into one of these, such as soda or beer, it will make the drink so cold that the sides and the bottom turn to slush. We love that. So why 3 stars only? Well the handles are coming off the body. One already fell off the other has the bottom part of the handle off. We can still use them but no handle.
