Got these for the under cabinets in our kitchen. They work well and the quality of the lighting is great. It really helps brighten up the counter space, and I didn't realize how much they help until now that we have them. Here are my Pro/Cons:PROS1. Simple to install and operate2. Great quality/amount of light3. Nice and slim, undetectable unless you look up under the cabinets4. Price is more than acceptable for what you get out of theseCONS1. Motion detection is not the best. Initial detection is good, but once it turns on it defaults to its set automated time. When you go up to the counter, it detects motion well, but then it will turn off after its set amount of run time even if you're still there moving around. And after it turns off, you have to basically walk away before it resets and senses motion again. Which leads me to the next Con...2. Length of time it stays on. A majority of the time it turns off in the middle of whatever you're doing, and then you have to either move dramatically or walk away and come back to get it to come back on. It needs to have a much longer ON time so as not to be annoying while doing normal kitchen prep work. Maybe they set it to this amount of time to help with Con number 3...3. Battery run time is low. We have to charge them pretty much every night so they won't run out on us in the middle of meal prep the second day after charging. I imagine they set the ON time lower so that the battery will last longer, but it's not convenient for the everyday user for just normal kitchen activity. It's not the end of the world to plug them in every night when going to bed, but you expect to not have to charge it that often. Oh well, I guess I shouldn't complain about wireless lighting at this price point, it really is a pretty good deal.So, all that being said, I still recommend these for an easy, simple lighting solution for your kitchen (or other) needs. If you don't want to worry about wiring up your lighting into your home electricity (the optimum method, but not worth the workload unless you're remodeling or building), or running wiring to plug into outlets (which uses up outlets), then this is the way to go. Just deal with the recharging and wonky motion detection/ON time - it's not THAT inconvenient.

They come on automatically, they are magnetic and they lite the inside of my toolbox well.

These Under Cabinet lights are a pleasure to own, very bright.

I use one of these for underneath my desk to light up my keyboard sits on a that slide-out shelf under the desk. I use the motion=detector setting the most and it works great for intermittent reading and typing (which happens a lot when I study). Bright light, just right!

I really like these, just wish they were either a little less sensitive or had a longer battery life. My two year old is a runner and runs into my kitchen a lot and even when he is 5 feets away they go off day and night. I've had others that you had to be right under the light for it to go on which saved the battery life, but I do love the look of these.

Nice and bright stay charged up for quite a while when working on motion. Easy to install.

I like these a lot. Since there are 2, I use 1 and keep the other as a spare so 1 is always charged. The little sticky pieces won't adhere to oil based paint so I screwed the plate in where I wanted it and that worked great. Before doing this, it kept falling off. Just make sure not to screw where the magnets are.

I installed these out of the box without charging, despite what they suggested, because I simply wanted to see how they worked. Well, I still haven't needed to charge them and it's a month later. These are outstanding lights. I'm going to buy more for other closets in my house that don't have lighting.I wouldn't recommend them for an area like a kitchen where you want the lights on for an extended period of time. This is really best used for closets, or cabinets or some short-term lighting need.My only complaint is that the adhesive tape they include doesn't work very well to attach the magnet. I've only had one out of 4 stay in the place I put it without having to drill screws to hold the magnet to the surface.
