Easy install, smooth shifting
I replaced a Hurst shifter with this B&M model in a '67 Chevelle SS because my wife found the Hurst required too much effort. The B&M installed easily and she finds it much easier to use, great product!! Plus it looks awesome!

Works perfectly!
Easy to install, came with so many adapters and extra brackets I could install it on anything. The Reverse/Park lockout works effectively without a lot of juggling around unlike the ratchet shifter I replaced. Very smooth and positive shifting. Works with 3 speed and OD transmissions and includes shift indicators for both. Neutral safety and backup switches are built in. Installation is easy, drill a hole for the cable to pass through, bolt the shifter to the floor, hookup the wiring, trim the console and fasten the cable to the transmission. It took me around an hour.

Shifter looks good. Reading thru the instructions something did not seem ...
Received quick as usual. Have not installed yet. Shifter looks good. Reading thru the instructions something did not seem quite right. I have a 1957 Chevy with a TH350. The instructions and the B&M video on YouTube stated that the cable swivel went in the front or forward hole of the shift bracket that gets bolted to the transmission. I called B&M tech help and was advised that for the 3 speed the center hole or middle hole has to be used. The front hole is for 4 speed transmissions. The tech told me that both the included instructions in the box and the video were wrong. I would suggest going to BMRacing.com. You can enter the model of your shifter and download a pdf of the updated instructions.

The instructions that come with this package are great. It even has a template on one of the pages to help you mount the shifter and cut the hole for shifter cable properly. This shifter is smooth! Very happy with this purchase

Decent shifter
Installed on a Ford C4 transmission and the instructions leave you to a fair bit of guesswork and spending mental energy. The GM instructions were much more thought out. Prepare to do aome searching on the internet.

Had to send back won't work with my band like they claimed
These have a rear mount for the cable not on front mount. These will not work with a 75 vette stingray like they claim. Packaging good and everything was in it it just not when it claims to be in relation to my car.
