Works just as intended. As you can see in the pic I swapped-out one of the "stock" wheels on my gate carrier for this grooved caster.TIPS:1 - Make sure you know the axle bore you require before ordering. (If it's not the default you can request the size you need.)2 - Also make sure your axle can accommodate the caster's width.3 - I actually ordered a 5" diameter caster even though the carrier's opposite wheel is 6" in diameter (see pic). The reason for this is that the caster rides atop an inverted V-track which elevates the axle. So the caster's axle is raised about 1/2" to basically match the level of the 6" wheel opposite it. Cool, huh?

This wheel replaced an aluminum and rubber wheel where the heat in Florida released the glue between the rubber and the aluminum in the shop. This wheel fits well in replacing that wheel and will hopefully withstand the heat better, since it is of a different compound.

Very nice wheel. We used a 6x2 rubber over cast iron with ball bearings to replace the garbage pneumatic tire that came on my son's hovercart. He says it rides great and it looks really cool too, like a mag wheel. The rubber is not too hard at all, I think it's a 70 Shore A hardness which seems perfect for this application.

Have bought this tire on and off for over two years and will continue to do so. Their resiliency to hard surfaces is amazing. As other type of old tires keep breaking this is the only tire I will use as replacement. They are sturdy with the 1/2" roller-bearing. Will not buy any other brand or type but this.

Wholy smokes is this thing high quality. I replaced my boat trailers jack tire with this as apparently the was no such thing has a high quality trailor jack tire. The old plastic ones were marking my garage floors and driveway. This thing does not. Very durable.

These are well-built and will serve my purpose.I’m using them on my RV to keep me from bottoming out and getting stuck. Probably add them to my trailer as well. Using a grade 8 bolt2400 lbs Capacity . I love they are greaseable

These were the exact wheels I needed for the cart I made. The cart is so heavy any wheel with any rubber on them would get a flat spot from the weight. These wheels were the only ones on Amazon that provided all of the dimensions I needed.Well worth the cost.

This is a must have for anyone buying a trailer jack, throw away the original equipment wheel and put on one of these. Standard trailer jack wheels are hard rubber and useless for rolling trailers on rough ground or surfaces with materials like sand, pebbles and other debris. This polyurethane wheel takes it in stride and will roll and pivot with little effort.
