Good quality trailing socket which is easy to wire to the cable. I bought it to swap the single socket extension buried in the wall behind my TV to a double, as I needed an extra for a Sky mini box. Good value for money and a trust worthy brand. Happy with this purchase.

Nice plug replacement

Before you all shout, "Well you should have bought one with switched sockets then!!", let me just say that the issues of non-switched sockets only occurred to me after I'd bought this thing and started using it. You have to either kill the power at the plug end and then disconnect equipment, or run the risk of arcing if you unplug something from the 2-way trailing socket. However, you have to pay more to get switches, and this is competitively priced for an unswitched pair. The cable seems to be good quality, as do the sockets. It's fairly compact, although a chunk of real-estate is taken up by the neon/LED "on" light and the terminal block inside the socket end. So you get quite a bit of "dead plastic" to accommodate if space is tight. It works, and I've had no issues after about 6 months of 24/7 use to run a wi-fi router and other computer peripherals.
