A solid choice for plant-based protein
This organic pea protein isolate is exactly what I wanted. Pure, simple, and high quality. It blends smoothly into my shakes without any chalky or gritty texture. The taste is mild and earthy but not overpowering which makes it easy to mix with anything.I appreciate that it is organic and free from fillers or artificial ingredients. It digests well and does not cause any stomach issues like some other plant proteins can.If you want a reliable clean plant-based protein that actually works this is a solid choice. Highly recommend. I have a subscription for this it’s so good. Will note: high iron content

Protein with amino acids.
I tried many protein powders. This is the best protein powder, plant based with aminoacids. I do agree its taste is not amazing even if you add banana, stroberry blueberry. Looks like manufacturer's do not care about customers choice. The taste is bad but it blends in milk. I used blender.

Highly recommend this organic pea protein! You'll get used to the flavor quickly
An incredible source of all-natural, organic, GMO-free, vegan, unflavored, vegetable (yellow pea) protein with no added ingredients whatsoever (hence the word "solo" on the top of the label). I think "Solo" should be removed from the title because it makes people think that's the name of the company when this product is actually made by Folona, not a company called "Solo." The first few times I used this product I struggled with the flavor, even gagged the first time I drank it, but after a few times using it I quickly got accustomed to the flavor and texture. It will clump and be overly thick unless properly mixed because there are no declumping agents added (only ingredient is the pea protein). I used a milk frother designed for lattes and cappuccinos, though a blender would also work.I appreciate that this protein powder is from peas grown in Canada rather than the United States. 99% of farms in the US use dangerous, non-organic, toxic herbicides, pesticides, fertilizers as well as other nasty chemicals. Only ~1% of farmland is the US is organic, a frighteningly low figure, that can be increased by only buying organic foods — demand increases the availability of organic foods and reduces the area of non-organic farmland.RoundUp (glyphosate) has an insanely long half-life rendering it effectively non-biodegradable and one of the "forever chemicals" to avoid at all costs. Any farmers using non-organic farmland today who want to switch to organic won't be able to effectively do so for years, if ever, because of the glyphosate content, and other chemicals, in the soil. Indoor cultivation and hydroponics are ways US-grown food/plants can avoid the toxic/forever chemicals in the soil. I prefer buying food grown in European countries (glyphosate has been outlawed in most of the EU for years) or Canada where I believe glyphosate is used less frequently and therefore I hope there is much less glyphosate in the soil and thus less in this product.I'm amazed at the amount of protein per serving (30 grams!) for only two scoops of powder. The size of the container is great because it's actually nearly full so very little wasted space which I appreciate. I also like that this product has a significant amount of iron (one serving has 55% of the RDA) which is difficult for me, as a vegetarian, to get enough of in my diet everyday.Compared to the Terrasoul brand organic GMO-free pea protein powder, I strongly prefer this Folona brand powder in terms of price, consistency, and taste. I will definitely buy this product again. I'm very happy to have found a vegan/vegetarian-friendly source of protein. I also love the fact that the amino acid breakdown is listed on the label indicating exactly how much, in grams, there is of every essential and non-essential amino acid. Very helpful for those who track their calories and nutrient intake.

Pretty good, depends on what you mix it with
Worked in carrot cake muffins, sweet potato waffles, and tropical smoothies with mango, pineapple, and/or strawberries + spinach + coconut milk. When mixed with just water, oat milk, or a light flavored juice the pea taste is pronounced. Doesn’t aggravate my SIBO though, so I am happy enough with it. May try out some other brands (like Anthony’s) to see if green pea isolate tastes better.

Great Quality Product
I liked this product right away. It looks and smalls clean as could be, and the flavor in plain water is certainly acceptable, but just add a few ounces of pomegranate juice and you have a great protein drink. It only takes a little stirring with a spoon to completely dissolve the powder, and mini-clumps. The low-sodium approach is much appreciated !

First Time With This Powder
Just started taking this pea protein this morning. Have been taking NOW Pea Protein, unflavored for years. Too me, there is just no comparison when it comes to how easily and thoroughly it stirs into a glass with a spoon. Plus, it actually has a mild sweetness to it. Costly? Yes. But, for me who takes 100 plus grams of protein daily through powders, it's worth it. Never could get used to the NOW Pea Protein's foaminess when using a blender bottle. Don't know what this one will be like with foaming when using a blender bottle but, it is just so smooth and creamy with minimal stirring in a glass of water, a bottle is not needed. Plus, at 73, I needed to switch to a brand with minimal sodium content and, this one fit the bill.

Good source of clean vegan protein
I was really excited about the fact that the product has less sodium than many other products. This was the primary reason I bought this product over others and the clean ingredients. While it claims to be unflavored , the overall taste has a strong aftertaste. I also have a similar product from another manufacturer which tastes better but has more sodium and of course I love the lack of any unhealthy extras in this product compared to others so that's key. I am not particularly sensitive to taste however I find the aftertaste hard to palate. I have been trying different variations of healthy fruit or bases to try it with. I typically use unsweetened almond milk and banana. Ive also added mango. Still, the taste. I am not sure that I will purchase again. This is the third pea protein product that I have tried so I don't have a lot to compare it to. But overall I think this is a good solid product. I'm committed to using it, just hoping I can find the right combo. Love that it is low in sodium, carbs and fat.Update: i also wanted to add that it does not upset the tummy, and I eventually got used to the taste, which isn't that bad after all. I found a few things that I could add to it and it has been a staple for me in the morning. In fact, I used this through my chemo, as I was not able to tolerate solid foods for a while. I actually will be repurchasing. Thank you for that Solo.
