Works as expected.
Works as expected to lower input level to mic level. Didn't notice any signal problems.

Great item, pricey but it works
I mix the sound coming in to my 5d2 w a Tascam DR100 . That camera and my 6d are not great for audio recording so i use the Tascam to record outside the camera and bring it in w/this cable. The audio is incredible. Price is high but it gets the job done. Will probly buy another one as a backup.

Only product that converts live level to mic level, works great!
Only product I've been able to find ANYWHERE that converts a line level signal into a mic level signal. I use this for sending a direct output from my audio interface to a mic input on a camcorder, to record video of live performances with CD-quality audio. Works like a charm! If you try the same thing, just make sure you get an extension cable that is properly shielded. (the first extension cable I got was a cheapo, and didn't work for this reason)

Pricey but worth it
When recording audio sometimes the signal will be a "little hot" and you need to bring it down and this accessory does just that. I have used it in a variety of applications including straight audio recording and in video. The cable is conveniently labeled to show you which end goes where. The price may be stiff for a simple cable but its function is well worth the price.

Does what it should, build quality a little meh for the price
It pads my Rode Wireless Go II enough go record live music off a standard mixer, but for the price tag, there are a few abnormalities with the build quality. The ease with which the outer casing unscrews off the end of the plug is a little annoying, I've had it start happening accidentally a time or two. And the crimping looks a little sloppy and like it was done at an angle. Attenuator or not, this is a $30+ ~5 inch cable, if should be a little better put together.

I love it. Had trouble with running mixer board audio to my zoom audio recorder as far as the sound be distorted and this fixed it. perfect clarity

Exactly what I needed
Linked my Tascam audio recorder to my Nikon camera. Bought in 2016 and it still works great in 2020. I've never had any problems with it.
