DevaCurl DevaCurl Styling Cream (Quantity of 2)

DevaCurl products are the answer to my prayers to the hair gods. Ever since I started using their products I stopped experiencing what I call the “halo of fuzz” that anyone with naturally curly hair knows all too well. It IS possible to use too much, however, so you will want to play around with the amount. I have thin hair but a lot of it and I use a little less than a quarter size amount on wet hair and then about a nickel size amount (in addition) once it’s dried some. I have bottles of it in my linen closet so I never run out!

So, this package is a good deal. The bottles are bigger than you'd think, and 2 for 1.5x the price of one is excellent.The product also works very well. I have crazy curly hair, prone to frizz, and this did an excellent job of keeping it looking good in very adverse conditions. I'm not crazy about the smell of it...I *suppose* it smells citrusy, but only the most artificial way. But the smell wears down once your hair is dry.But, holy cow, you don't need very much of it. Overall, this is a good thing...the product lasts a while. But, coming from using Frizz-Eze, I used WAY too much the first time. I had to rinse and try again. And by "too much" I mean 3 pumps for mid-back length hair. There was nothing on the bottle to indicate that only a little should be used, and that would have been helpful.

I use the Styling cream once up to twice a week, especially during the was day. It does provide a very soft hold and enhances the curls while reducing the frizz.I really like this styler as it is lightweights ans perfectly melts through my fine curls. Unfortunately it does not enough moisturizes while the Devacurl Supercream is a no go for me as too much coconut oil dries out my tresses (🤷🏽‍♀️).So on top of the styling cream I apply the As I Am Dubble Butter Cream.Both products do great together! No flakes (if you apply too much of these, flakes will appear and in that case you just need to use your microfiber towel to remove the excess product).

My wife really likes this stuff, I definitely notice a big difference in her curls. If you have curly hair give it a try.

Love this product for my curls but the pump is slightly off as it does not cleanly pump out the product. It almost spits it out in fragments when you pump the styling cream out. Very strange. It was a 2 pack so hopefully the 2nd won’t have the same problem. First time having this issue with the pump. Never had this issue before from other vendors.

It doesn’t leave a cast, but it seems to make my hair feel waxy. I am only using a half a pump for hold. I use this product during refresh days. I am trying to find the right amount and way to use this product.

I use this along with renpure coconut whipped creme leave-in and it is my holy grail hair combo!!!

Deva has the best leave in products in my view. I have thickly curly colored hair and this combined with the light Deva gel leave my curls looking sharp indeed!
